Oh, he was such a little drama queen, sometimes. When an all-too-familiar blonde body flopped down beside him, Axel kept toxic green focused firmly ahead, as if watching a large group of fawns play their game of leg-flailing tag, a knowing grin curling about the corners of his lips. He had known he would come around, eventually. It was the way it always happened. Didn't make it any more pleasant when it was happening though, of course.

It was a relief, if that was the word, that this was coming to an end. When he sensed that anger cooling to an air of defeat, Axel turned his head towards his younger comrade, matching blazing blue with heated green. "I know. These things happen. Don't beat yourself up about it." One pointed hoof reached out and gently prodded the other, like a playful friendly punch. Perhaps he would apologize too, if the younger came up with a good reason for him to. He felt he should explain, first.

"There are many ways to handle a situation, Roxas-sometimes, the nicest option isn't the best. She came to me, afterwards, just as I knew she would." Splaying his forelimbs outwards, legs resting against the younger stag's side, Axel continued, ears radaring relaxedly. "She'll be fine~"

He didn't like fighting with Roxas, at all. But sometimes, you had to be cruel to be kind.

(*dies laughing* XD Nightmare's initial actions here with Axel are actually generally a bit because well Roxas was peeved at the other XD Pfffffffffft, so he'll get a bit pissy with Axel himself LOL! It's that... ah how should we put it... 'protective' nature he has over friends and those he sees as friends XD

And Nightmare in himself is just a dick at times <3<;;;;;;;; Sometimes Nightmare just enjoys seeing how many strings he can push and tug XD But that's what makes him slightly more amusing now |D)

Roxas flinched at the mention of the data town. "Way to dig up bad memories, Axel." He smiled a bit, though. While some of the memories weren't pleasant, most of them were actually rather good. Sure it had been fake but it had been the first time Roxas had felt normal.
What he wouldn't give to feel like that now.
The blond stag shook his head and stood, stretching. "Now that that's settled, let's go get some ice-" He paused, remembering there wasn't any ice cream here, and laughed a little. "Will blueberries do? Saix showed them to me...they're actually not too bad."
