I watch the movie "Plague Dogs" a few time ago and actually i'm reading the book. It is so beautiful and (well but) sad.

Here a short summary from Wikipedia:

>This book tells of the escape of two dogs, Rowf and Snitter, from a government research station in the Lake District in England, where they had been horribly mistreated. They live on their own with help from a fox, or "tod" in his Geordie dialect.After the dogs attack some sheep on the fells, they are described as ferocious man-eating monsters by a journalist named Digby Driver. A great dog hunt follows which is intensified with the fear that the dogs could be carriers of a dangerous bioweapon like bubonic plague. <

The book is written by Richard Adams. Maby you know him ... he has also written "Watership down" and "Shardik". I love those animal fables which show the "real" humanity. If you are interested in the movie you can find him on youtube!
