Wald is the quiet witness to every life claimed in the endless cycle of predator and prey. He is the warm welcome awaiting the fallen, a guide who greets each frightened soul in the Endless Forest. His presence is gentle and always polite, but there is no spark of urgency or sorrow in him. The tides of life and death have long since worn off his edge. Fear, grief, and hope are just ripples of the primordial sea. He listens out of duty, comforts when expected, but nothing lingers in him.
Time has dulled the world for Wald. There is nothing left to rush toward, so he is patient. No point in cruelty, so he is kind. These aren’t virtues, but consequences — this stag has seen every plea, every final cry, every wide-eyed terror. None are new. It can't reach him anymore. And so, he walks the Endless Forest, a witness of the cycle.

I believe that Wald and his deer, Phylin and Murai, can help lead the next generation of new players by giving them a warm welcome to this tranquil forest. Casting forest magic spells is one thing, too.
