Wandered around a bit, came across Ramsus in the river again. Bowed awkwardly to Geo and TF before hopping across the water to sit with Isiel. Stayed with her for a while until Ram moved the group farther into the Forest. Watched a giant herd of deer with some antagonists, took note of a little blue stag she'd seen briefly as a younger deer (Noa) - doing most of the antagonizing. Looks like that odd fall behavior is starting up again... Hm.
Sat with Ram and Isi for a while until she dozed off. Woke with Dinah at her side again, moved over just as she seemed to doze off. Joined by Henna, invited her to sit immediately, of course. Watched Ramsus trot by, followed shortly thereafter by a limping Daneth. Both soaked over at the Idol. Watched Daneth watch Ramsus approach, curious. Sat with the group for a while longer before dragging herself to bed.

Phaios' Daily Activity - 9/27/12 (Hover to expand)
Found an Idelle! Hung out with her and Isiel, curious about Ramsus, who was behind a tree for a while until he moved to the side of it to creep on the girls.
Ended up following Idelle around, first over to Johan and some random bouncy deer, then to a large herd atop the hill with Eraline's tree. Hung back, uncertain of the group's and its leader's sizes, as well as Tieff's presence. Idelle didn't seem to have any worries, though, so snuck closer and eventually sat after saying hello to Mateo and giving a little bow towards TF. Sat down briefly, only to be abandoned by Idelle. Darted after her, ignoring Cadaver's cry from the hill.
Soon found herself back with Isiel and Ramsus. Hopped around for a little bit, then caught sight of Ravus and Geisha resting nearby with a mini. Went over to say hello since she hadn't seen them in a while. Ended up dragging everyone over somehow. Craziness ensued: Idelle herding Ramsus into the group, then attempting to herd Darcy over - and ending up herded over by him, instead. Hopping and Ravus prickling at the boys and deer running around everywhere. Random minis joined here and there, including a doe she'd glimpsed with Cadaver's herd earlier (Nadya), as well as a caribou stag she vaugely recognized (Toukan). Curious as to why Isiel was hovering around her instead of Ramsus like usual, but let her be; she seemed anxious.
Eventually Ramsus managed to make an escape, and Isiel followed - only to end up alone in a flower patch nearby. Approvingly watched Idelle and Darcy go over to fetch Isi back. Rested with the group.

Wandered around. Watch Ram get flirted with by some stranger and Isiel show her what-for, then left them to their own devices and wandered off. Found Dinah and Idelle, dozed beside them for a while. Isiel turned up in some ferns by a tree nearby. Went over to check on her, wondering why she was sitting at a distance. Ramsus ran over when he saw them. Sat with the pair for a while, eventually dozed off again. Ravus and Geisha in a neighboring flower patch.

Phaios' Daily Activity - 9/29/12 (Hover to expand)
Went to the pond for a drink. Watched a couple of stags tussle for a bit, then set off into the birch. Sat at her flower-watching spot and was joined by Vittani, who seems to have a new coat. Also joined by a stranger (lilio), who seemed polite enough.
Suddenly, darkness descended upon the Forest. Got up to peer about, deer suddenly everywhere. Stood over a shivering Vittani for a bit, then relocated to Eraline's tree and sat with her. Enjoying the view and change in scenery.
Lost track of Vittani at some point. Wandered off in search of Illrose after hearing her voice at a distance. Tagged along with her and Cadaver, picked up Vittani again along the way. The group returned to Eraline's tree - perfectly okay with this. Sat down and popped right back up again to dart off and retrieve Idelle. Enjoying the group's company~
Got annoyed with a stag (TheGiver) who was constantly harassing the group and running over and around the girls. Threw a pelt spell at him during one of his charges, then retreated to the tree again.
Lots of deer coming and going. Eventually Henna turned up and gave Cadaver a run for his money. Highly entertained by the antlered doe's antics, darting about to rub on things and dancing in between dashes. Played along a bit, went to dance with Henna and managed to get Cadaver pretty riled. Eventually Henna was grudingly allowed into the group. Dance party!
Sat down to rest for a while (yay lunch time).
Woke to find most of the group - Cadaver included - missing. A glowing Idelle and Verve suddenly ran up and globbed some weird glowy stuff on her. Ew! What is that? And why are they covered in it? Watched Idelle and Verve dash over to Ephire to paint him, too. And Henna. Oh my.
Wiped off what she could and settled down again, still glowing in places. Tried a few times to get Illrose to re-join the group, but she was distracted with a fawn. Bid her farewell when she departed with the tyke in tow, sat down next to Idelle again.
Stayed with the group a long time. A number of deer came and went - Herla, Delilah, and a host of others. Even Tieff! Wary of the stag, but didn't mind him sitting with the group so much since he was calm. Watched Verve go off to sit behind a tree, and Herla follow after - probably to talk. When they had left, watched Seraphim and Poseidon fuss at each other. Wanting a change of scenery, said her farewells and meandered over to the hill overlooking the Crying Idol. Enjoying the sound of crickets and burbling water, lost in thought.
Peered over at the source of thundering hooves - caught sight of Thane and Prussia running around through the grass. Listened for a while until they settled down, then got distracted by a random Daneth. Put off by the stag's nuzzling, but tried to be polite. He soon vanished into the night, leaving her alone with her thoughts again.
Walked over to the Crying Idol to wash off the rest of the glowy goo after discovering it tasted awful enough to warrant a bath. Rinsed herself off in the river and shook herself dry. Noticed a fawn sitting all by herself next to the pond, walked over to check on her but failed to get her attention. Sat down in the taller grass a little way away instead. After a while, decided the fawn was fine and perfectly content sitting there and trotted off in Ravus's direction, instead. Tried to flop on top of her, but the larger doe wouldn't have any of it. : < Feigning huffiness, nuzzled her instead. Said hello to Mateo when he came over, then sat with Ravus in a little patch of poppies.
And then things started happening. First, Ravus gathered some minis, which seemed to upset Geisha. Mildly amused by this until she noticed some stranger (Poseidon) kept staring at them. Then some crazy wolf-looking thing (Loki) kept staring at them. And then the pair moved to opposite sides of the little herd. Feeling surrounded, turned herself so she could keep an eye on both strangers while Ravus moved about to keep them at bay. Caught sight of a stag she didn't see very often - Kaoori's son, Takeshi. He greeted Ravus and Geisha warmly, but things went sour when he caught sight of Loki. Crazy running around and fighting and ahmg what happened. Bolted after Ravus and Geisha, not really sure what she was doing but feeling the need to get the heck out of Dodge. The group paused to scuffle atop the hill with Eraline's tree. Noticed Akhen looking ragged there, stood over him while the group fought. Trailed partway down the hill after the group moved off, trying to keep an eye on things. Ran almost headlong into Ramsus and Isiel, put herself close to him for some measure of security. The fight moved somewhere distant. Ran back and forth to check on Akhen, who apparently sleeps like a rock. Noticed Takeshi taking on Loki alone while Ravus and Geisha were occupied elsewhere. Scuttled over to Ramsus, tried to get a pelt spell and failed, and Ram wasn't helping either. Grabbed a pinecone instead and threw some antlers at Loki, figuring anything was better than the towering red tines he had. He sneezed them off in about half a second, but it slowed him down! Ran for her life, but he wasn't really interested. Stood next to Geisha and watched the wolf run off looking upset? Confused. No idea who really started the fight - him or Takeshi - but knew she sure as heck didn't want him around harassing the group any more.
Once certain he was gone, retreated back to Akhenaton to make sure he was alright. Prodded him awake and spoke briefly before catching Aria's call. Went to make sure she was alright and found her at the planned birth spot with Daneth and some other deer nearby. Returned to the hill with her and sat with Akhen for a while. Eavesdropped, mostly, and put in her two cents here and there. Sent Endri to keep an eye on Aria when she insisted on going to the pond for some plants for Grumpy Feathers to eat.

Sat by Eraline's tree, paying little attention to a sleeping Verve and Ephire behind her. Another stranger (Black Knight) approached soon after they left - didn't pay her much mind, either, until she caught a scent that held her interest. Gave BK a polite bow before trotting towards the playground, following her nose. Startled to find that her eyes confirmed what she'd thought was her nose playing tricks on her. Cautiously approached a resting Walter, nearly jumped out of her skin when he leaped off the rock. Watched him until he paused to look back at her, then followed at a distance. Stood and sniffed at him in the blue bowl for a minute until he bolted towards the pond. Followed, again more slowly, and warily entered the water behind him. Hesitated for a few moments, stalling by getting a drink before she sat near the stag, ignoring the discomfort of the water soaking her pelt and trying not to be creeped out by the fact he'd lay down where she'd found his body some months ago. Failed miserably when he vanished without a trace and skittered out of the water. Wandered around some, shaken.
Decided to see if someone she knew as about. Bumped into Isiel, but she seemed lost in thought or something and didn't pay much attention beyond acknowledging Phai's existence. Sat by a nearby willow until a tremendous rabbit came running at her with that deer from the hill. Freaked out (because rabbits are scary!) and stomped her hooves at the poor thing when it came over to investigate what was wrong. Relieved when it left, but too shaky to sit still. Said goodbye to Isiel and went off to find someone else. Spotted Ramsus at the ruins, but he seemed to be with someone else. Debated with herself for a while until she got spooked by another deer. Took off again, somehow found herself at the river. Noticed that deer sitting entirely too close. Convinced herself she's being followed by skeleton-pelted deer. Completely turned around and feeling lost and confused and stalked, threw herself a nice little fit until Endri told her to sit the hell down and wait. Obliged, overwhelmed with relief when her little companion made it to her side. Trying to calm down.
Moved to Eraline's tree after some time, fell into a fitful doze with Endri at her side. Only vaguely aware she'd wandered off until awakened by a mental voice. Dragged herself over to sit with Illrose and her company.
Eventually Illrose and Jack departed and were replaced with Ramsus, Isiel, and Herla, who sat with the mini-fawn. Aria came by and dozed off some time later, and Phai wasn't far behind. Zzz.

Phaios' Daily Activity - 10/2-3/12 (Hover to expand)
Woke. Still dark out. Caught sight of Prussia and Thane a short ways off, but was intercepted by Cadaver before she could make up her mind on whether to say hello or not. Returned his greeting, sniffed at him and tried to not let herself get upset about a nuzzle. Noticed Ramsus passing by and gave him a bow when he paused. Blinked with confusion as he trotted off. Well hello to you, too, jerk.
Accepted Cadaver's invitation to join him and was led to a patch of flowers where a bunch of does were gathered around a wounded Daneth. Checked on him briefly and was met with obvious disapproval from the dragon stag. Baffled and a bit put off, moved over to sit by Calida and a tree while Cadaver bounced around. Gave him one or two hops before she sat, for the sake of being polite. Not really in a bouncy mood.
Followed him and Calida to another flower patch and caught sight of the biggest mushroom in the history of giantest mushrooms ever. Surprised and somewhat delighted when Cadaver started making attempts to get atop the crazy thing. Even tried herself a couple times, but on the second run found Thane antlering at the stem. Pulled up short and stood there confused. Further at a loss when Cadaver and Calida came up behind her. Lots of awkward standing and more of Thane trying to knock the mushroom over or whatever he was up to.
Afraid of slighting Thane and upsetting Prussia, stayed behind when Cadaver and Cali wandered off. More awkward staring. Tried not to make too much eye contact with Thane, keeping herself as non-threatening/invasive as she could. Uncomfortable with Prussia constantly darting between the two and lingering around her. Walking on glass. Eventually sat down in the flowers to avoid having Pru underneath her any more. Watched Thane refuse to get near her, though he relented some and sat close enough that Prussia could sit in the middle of them, with a few feet between each deer. Not very hopeful for the situation. Wondered if it would be in her better interest to make a break for it and not risk Thane's displeasure.
Thoughts interrupted by a fawn casting flowers on Thane and antlers on her. Got up to play a little bit, tossing antler spells at the little one and managing to get a matching pair before Thane got up and tossed away the flowers and the fawn took an interest in him. Caught a glimpse of someone staring in the distance, felt her heart leap into her throat when she realized who it was. Backed away as the Wolf approached, stood somewhere behind Thane until the fawn planted itself right in front of the Wolf and got its attention. Stood over the fawn and tried to push it away. Managed it, sorta, but seemed to get some attention from the Wolf as well. Eventually he left and the fawn tried to win Thane over again. Got between them and tried to lead the fawn away when Thane got a little pushy. In the middle of all this, saw the Wolf chasing Kaoori. Effing hell... Bolted towards them, but someone intercepted the Wolf and distracted him. Met with Kaoori on a hill, checked her over.
THAT STUPID FAWN went right up to Vasla again. Chaos, chaos everywhere. Tried to shoo the fawn away, quickly getting fed up. Running, everywhere. Lost track of Vasla and, worse, Kaoori. The area settled down, and Pru took off after the group. After several panicky moments of indecision, went to make sure Kaoori and her protector (Indi) were alright before racing back for Prussia. Found an unhappy Thane glaring at her from above Pru ('Fine, FINE, I'm done! I know you don't need or want me, but I'm going to make sure my friends are alright, DAMN IT.') and quickly departed to find Kaoori again. Sat next to her at the pond, somewhere between riding an adrenaline high and about to drop from all the running and panic.
Approached by JM and the other doe who had been defending Kaoori. Checked on them both before sitting down again. Starting to shake as everything sinks in.
Freaked out when the group was charged by some random stag who apparently just wasn't paying attention to where he was going. Bolted underneath Ramsus for a moment when she caught sight of him and Isiel, feeling considerably safer beside one of his tremendous legs. Dragged them over to sit with the group, trying to settle her nerves. Kao ran off, presumably to check on others. Worryworry.
Another stag ran over to the group. Nearly leaped out of her skin and behind Ramsus until he was standing still. Gave an awkward hello and tried to settle down again. Not long after, he started mooing. And mooing. And mooing. And wouldn't stop. Told him several times to stop, even going so far as to shout back in his face - to no avail. Finally changed his entire set, and that seemed to shut him up for a minute until he ran off to play with some other noisy deer. Tolerated the distant running and mooing for as long as she could before her nerves simply couldn't handle it any more. Made a beeline for Eraline's grave, trying to pretend Thane and Prussia weren't in their usual place nearby.
Realized with dread some time later that the Wolf was standing not that far off with an unfamiliar doe. Hunkered down and froze, hoping he'd be occupied enough not to notice her in the grass. Started to think she might be safe when FREAKING HUGE RAMSUS blew her cover, Isiel in tow. Attempted to dissolve into the dirt. Failed. About ready to cry.
Actually kinda glad for the huge stag, though. Aside from being a dead giveaway, he's a very nice bodyguard. After several uneventful minutes, started to calm down a bit.
Much later, after Ramsus and Isiel had wandered off for the night and Castallion had joined her, Vasla threw a fit. Seemed contained until a limping Noa got too close. Got up, fussing for Castallion to stay put as she went over to keep an eye on things. Watched the Wolf rub on Noa and toss his head at him once, but otherwise appear leave him (mostly) unharmed before running off. Calida jumped in there somewhere, recognized her from Cadaver's herd. Tried to intervene when Thane went to run poor Noa off after he settled in too close to their 'home.' Mostly ignored by everybody except Castallion, bless his little heart. But she oughtta wring his neck for challenging Thane like that. Gave him a good piece of her mind and dragged him off by the ear (not really, but she woulda if she coulda). Caught up with Noa and Calida, invited them up to Eraline's tree to sit in a place she knew would be relatively safe. Spoke briefly before all but collapsing after the day's events.
Brooded to herself, worried with Thane's continued disapproval and aggression towards herself and others ('I said I would get them away, no, wait, no, that's me, just -- wait two seconds, will you?!'), and with Prussia's habit of standing by. Worried about their apparent friendship with the Wolf. And the new tagalong fawn. And this poor beat up buck. And a dozen other things that made her stomach churn with nausea. Physically and mentally drained. WORST. NIGHT. EVER.

Woke feeling a little better than the previous night, but almost as exhausted as she had been when she put down her head. Slept fitfully throughout the night. Moved farther into the birch, pausing at Thane and Prussia's place for a minute before moving on to Eraline's grave. Noticed the Wolf's doe companion sleeping a ways off. Approached by a weedy thing. Tried to ignore it, not in the mood for unfamiliar company - much less awkward plant life. Too polite to chase it off, though. Biting her tongue.
Made an escape when the thing fell asleep. Hid out at the Playground for a while, but ended up wandering down to the pond not too long after. Got a drink, took a walk. Wound up at that big mushroom again. Determined to get atop it this time. Ignored Ramsus and a couple of fawns tussling below, and finally managed to scramble all the way to the top. Take a good hard look at my motha lovin' 'shroom! (link has lots of cussing, you are warned) Enjoying her perch. Hey, I can see my house from here!
Some time long after Ramsus had wandered off with Isiel, noticed Noa lurking about. Some time after that, woke to thundering hoofsteps as the Wolf charged after the poor buck. Clambered down fro
m her hard-earned lookout to keep an eye on things, only to gain the Wolf's interest. Started to move off, hoping he'd lose interest if she moved. Nope. Bolted, then thought better of it. Ran in circles for a moment as she got her bearings, then took off for the birch. Stopped when she realized the Wolf had peeled off, stared at him from a distance for a minute or two until he turned tail and vanished. Both relieved and disappointed, but she had an idea now.
Checked on Noa and sat down with him, keeping lookout for the injured deer. Got up for some rapidly approaching hoofsteps; delighted to find Ravus and Mateo were the owners. Greeted them both and tried to introduce Noa, glad to have some backup, but the buck wasn't really interested. Let him be, kept an eye on him.
Initiated some much-needed roughhousing with Ravus, starting with a nice green pelt spell. Followed up with some poking and prodding and a new pair of antlers, which Ravus returned. With matching heads, squared off with the considerably larger doe. Practiced her kicks and getting behind another deer for a quick jab - all punches pulled, of course. Even found herself laughing some. Played at claiming Mateo and the gigantic mushroom, even dug her hooves into the ground and pushed against Ravus at one point. Was shoved backwards a good number of feet before she nearly toppled over, leaving long scores in the earth. Finally started wearing out and eventually settled down beside a victorious Ravus and the watchful Mateo. Figures she'll be sore from so much exercise, come tomorrow, but it was totally worth it.
Really needed that.
