Born as crown-heir to an empire; an only child. Groomed from day one and was never allowed to experience a normal childhood. Found no love in the cold and formal relationship between he and his parents and no truth in the false niceties of those who surrounded him in court.

Grew wild and rebellious as a youth, often outright defying his parents orders and fleeing the palace to run amok in the city. Despite this ruthless and skilled in his duties, a feared presence in royal proceedings regardless of what many would see as nothing more than a flawed, spoiled child.

Killed at the age of 16 in an attack alongside his parents. His body never found.

Returned, changed, to the empire in turmoil after a year of absence. Settling in to an uneasy rule where many suspect the true heir has been replaced by an impostor. Meanwhile painstakingly working to unravel the tyranny of his bloodline's legacy even if it fuels the rumours further.

>Has had very few non-superficial relationships and thus struggles to form healthy ones. Often feels the need to shower others in gifts and praise to maintain a friendship. Better at maintaining formal relationships and often finds himself panicked and lost with more intimate, truthful bonds. Builds an image of being easy-going and open but uses this as a front to hide his deeper self.

>Vain to a degree, more so in his human form. Can still be found wearing intricate jewellery in the forest from time to time.

>Has a very slight limp in his right hind leg, noticeable in his gait but otherwise does not seem too bothered by it apart from a few lingering pains. Throat has a deep scar wound across it.

>Controlled, even in heated arguments or when cornered is skilled at not letting his emotions show. Can come across as either level-headed or simply unpassionate, does dwell on the events later though, letting his emotions out in private or with a select few.

>A trained singer as a boy, discontinued as he grew older and his voice changed but still carries some skill.

Bonds

Elgin
Mother. Guardian. Family. Owes his life to, only alive today due to her. Has only love and respect for. Right-hand and most trusted adviser.

Désirée
Maid, friend? Toyed with and treated badly in the past. Desperately working towards forgiveness from now but would not blame her if she never accepted his efforts. Protective over, worries for..

Nawfar
Finds her antics amusing but also worries her nature will see her get into trouble. Somewhat protective over though knows she would take offence if this became apparent.

Sindile
Friend, known since he was a pup. Sees as somewhat reckless and boisterous yet interesting, senses a troubled nature from him.

Atiq
Knows very little of Nawfar's father but aware of his disappearance and the subsequent strained relationship he and his daughter now share upon his return. Seen in a positive light and through his friendship with Nawfar wishes to try and help the two rebuild.

Enchante
'Rain'. Knows very little of but has a promise to uphold, allowing her a job and quarters within the palace.

Limaria
Met during his early forest days and forever grateful for her watching out for him when he was nothing more than a young forest fawn. Looked up to. Aware she has a family now; having met her daughters Abilene and Zalyn as children.

Jude
One of his first encounters within the forest, a dear and trusted friend. Feel he learned the lesson of not judging others by their appearance from Jude and is thankful for that. Not seen often anymore but a comforting presence when he does.

Ayaki
Once drawn in by the doe's wisps out of curiosity before getting to speak with her. Finds her to be a kind and gentle presence. Aware she was pregnant and hopes she and her family are well.

Nemphlèx
Once attacked by and stalked on several occasions since. Remembers the lingering fear the creature brought but hasn't seen in a while. Does not fear Nemphlex as much as he once did.
