Got to know his first grandchildren (Unni and Mjrn). After quite a rocky start with Vígolfr, immediately bonded with him as soon as he held his granddaughter in his arms. Fiercely protective of his new family members. Held an enormous feast in Ydalir.
-
Got to know Yrsa and Rúna, both Canary's children. Talked to the queens for a while and admittedly left quite impressed. Returned to Ydalir to prepare a certain trip. Selected the best horses he could find and drove his servants mad while he chose what kind of food he would need. Couldn't sleep so he went to the battle ground and trained for hours. His daughter Mjoll eventually joined him and while they relentlessly fought against each other, he told her about the three queens he saw today. His daughter seemed quite fascinated by the amount of queens and asked when she will become one. As a true viking father, quickly changed the topic.
-
Prepares to expand the empire, will soon send out a family member to reach new lands. Therefore has been thinking about his children. Always favoured his youngest daughter Mjoll because she seemed more family-orientated and far more reckless than her sister. Þórhalla was stubborn and not reliable in his eyes. Afterall came to no conclusion and got drunk.
Hopped into the forest and watched Io/Fell/Dagrún and Canary for a while. Eventually watched the ruby doe leave and Dagrún rushed over to him while Io left with Fell elsewhere. Suspected what they were doing (but was wrong) and so he decided to gave Dagrún a knife. Cause that's what children need.
-
• Kinda insulted Io and doubted her strength.
• Returned to Ydalir in order to care for a specific woman from a nearby village who claimed to have given birth to his biological daughter. The man knew she was just trying to get into the royal family somehow and hoped for some gold. However, the female was stubborn and visited the High King again and again where she demanded gold. Simply send her away each time but once she dared to defame him in front of everyone during a festival, he grabbed the newborn and threw it into the fire. Asked the woman for which child she exactly demanded the gold now. Told his daughter Þórhalla to sell the woman as a slave or kill her, he couldn't be bothered by the outcome anyway.

A recent activity in his homeworld forced him to return to his more feral nature in order to protect his mental self. Entered the forest and his human sanity decreased more and more. Briefly joined by the pretty face (Izumi) and was ready to attack the other male but Izzy is too smart and left. Also Utau, the goddess of the blood moon, 'showed' him her powers after he threatened to kill and eat her and brought his human self back again.
-
- Got to know Utau
- Briefly talked to Io and got to know what she was up to. Wished her good luck on her hunt, kinda impressed.
- Chased a stranger (Izumi) across the forest.
-
- Talked to Amnesia and made plans for her upcoming battle. Offered his help in exchange for some loot.
- Returned to Ydalir and gathered a part of his army to fight against the men of a lesser king.
- Celebrated their victory in Ydalir but eventually left to drink in the forest.
- Got to know Canary and shared a drink, talked for a little while.
- Left the forest to prepare for Amnesia's battle.
-
- Saw Io and asked what happened to her; gifted her a dagger
- Recruited Ingolfr for another mission
- Prepared for an upcoming battle
-
Visited Io, who was watching over a little fawn (Dagrun). Eventually noticed that Io seemed annoyed/distracted? by a nearby stranger (Mikill). Didn't really bother that much and so just told Io that he would watch over Dagrun while she would sort her stuff out. Let the fawn play with his chains but soon realized she got stuck in them, quickly tried to detangle her before Io returned. The female returned shortly after. Offered to show her his homeworld and soon they brought the fawn to its den and teleported to Ydalir. Showed her his royal city Heidabyr but quickly left to watch the aurora borealis from a nearby hill. Said goodbye to the woman and returned to the forest with his youngest daughter Mjoll in tow. The fawn remained exactly 0,1 seconds near him until she bolted off. The father didn't really care and wouldn't follow, if she was dumb enough to get herself killed in such a peaceful forest, she probably didn't deserve his name anyway. Soon a stranger (Minh) joined him.
-
Entered the endless forest after he spied on his own daughter and wondered where she always went. Got to know Amnesia and a feathered doe. Quite enjoys the relaxing time in the forest though also slowly grows restless.
Returned to Ydalir and heard that giants entered the kingdom in the north. Saw this as a sign to finally try out more unconventional methods and is currently searching for someone who is brave
Also needs to get rid of some bandits in a nearby forest, recruiting more forces.

• The High King of Ydalir. Responsible for plots and missions of all kinds.
• Extremely protective of what he considers worthy family members and trusted friends.
• Mainly uses his feral form in his homeworld, the architecture of his royal city is adjusted to his bigger dire wolf form.
• Words are wind. Actions speak louder than any empty promises.
• Shaped by his cruel homeworld. Doesn't shy away from killing a child if it wouldn't survive the winter anyway.
• High expectations of his family. Will only name those he finds worthy or promising. Also always tests his family, often puts them in dangerous situations to see how they will manage. Doesn't mind getting rid of family members once they disappoint him.
• Maybe has killed one or two of his former wives.
• Would never openly admit this but is an avid book reader.
• More interested in understanding the magical aspects of his kingdom and securing it than expanding it. Since the headworld Ydalir is focused on the mythological creatures of norse mythology, rulers are often more busy defending their kingdom instead of fighting against other norsemen.
• In Ydalir the norse gods do exist and sometimes affect the personalities of the mortals. In this case Hróðvitnir is connected to Fenrir and therefore destruction, battles and deceit play a huge role in his life.
