Small, similar to a cat in body shape, but with 4 owl-like toes on each paw. Two wing sets: A smaller one on the rear and a bigger one. Tailess.
Staring into the eyes may cause shivering and anxiety.

By far not the sharpest tool in the shed. Although can understand speech, they do not have the intelligence a human-like sentient being has.
Obsessed with bones, disease and death.
Very vocal. They screech, coo, whistle and chirp. Sounds vary from owl to cockatoo very easily.
Able to sense death. When does so, goes silent.
Harmless to other beings. However, will fight if cornered by something.
The feathers have multiple properties.

Origins
Born from ashes of those cremated during the Black Death. the strong, thick aura of disease and death condensed into a living(?) being. Those creatures were able to sense sickness and when something was about to die. Due to this fact, many of them would perch upon the buildings and observe as humanity would succumb to the plague.
This habit soon led humans to think the disease was brought by those creatures and they'd soon be seen as devils to be hunted and killed, for humanity thought the end of their existance would result in the end of the plague. Many of them were chased out of the human world- This one, in special, crawled into the forest to seek shelter.
