Discovered there actually are flower nymphs in Greek mythology. They are called Anthousai. I assume Anthousa is the singular form.

Your characters have held my attention for years and I'm always excited with, but this one holds a special place in my heart. Amary is so good, so pure. I'm overcome with adoration at this specific moment, though I promise you I think of her fondly quite often.

The shape-shifter’s ears perk up as she spots the familiar sight of the flower nymph close by. She darts off enthusiastically in the direction of Amary while the item she carries in her mouth swings violently from side to side. However, as Artemis nears the other a slight tentativeness overcomes her steps before she stops and stutters out a greeting.

“H-hey! Its been a while,”Artemis starts awkwardly, not fully addressing the fact she hasn’t seen Amary in months. Her grey eyes drift to the ground momentarily.“I brought you something...”

The object dangling from her mouth – a chain with a glass vial attached – glistens slightly in the forest’s sunlight. Inside the small vial is an array of tiny items: brightly coloured butterfly wings, intact flower petals, dandelion seeds and shiny shards of stone. All are items the burgundy doe has collected on her travels with Amary in mind and now she leans her head forward slightly to gift it to the nymph.

Eee glad you think so! Decided to doodle it up at the last-minute ^^'


Artemis grins at Amary's reaction, pleased to see the gift is accepted. However, she can't help but giggle. "O-oh don't worry about that! You don't need to give me anything silly!"

The shape-shifter returns the nuzzle affectionately. "It's good to see you too."

Yeah, I didn't have much time, but it was nice seeing you, too!

So something I realized about Amary
It's occurred to me that she seems to have trouble with distinguishing between romantic and platonic feelings

This fits with the definition of quoiromantic (someone whose experiences and attractions cannot be distinguished into romantic or platonic, according to this), also called WTFromantic or platoniromantic.

The blog I got that definition from also has idemromantic, defined as "someone who experience romantic and platonic attraction similarly or identically, but separates them based on certain factors". Which sounds pretty much the same as quoiromantic except the last part and I'm really not sure if that applies to Amary or not.
