12/30/15
Mostly just keeping to herself or sitting by the crystal. Anxious as to what is to come of the shining object.
12/14/15
More relaxing by the crystal, but not after scrounging up some dragonflies and getting some water.
12/7/15
Kept herself near the strange crystal. Felt oddly drawn to it. Moments where she drank or relieved herself were kept short and sporadic in order to return as quick as possible. Lays by it for many hours. Perhaps finding comfort in the fact that it reminds her faintly of home.
12/6/15
Entered the forest after following her mates essence through a couple of portals from her home world. Found herself slightly overwhelmed, but quickly took to exploring the forest she had come to. Was somewhat disgusted that even here humans seemed to have a hand in things, noting the bridge that crossed a small stream.
Wandered the strange forest for some time, before resting in the birch forest. Noted an odd looking crystal that felt...well, odd. Moved and sat besides it, simply because it felt strange. Strange perhaps for this place, but also maybe not exactly surprised considering her homeland.
There is alot of info in here.

Name: Kasih (Kahs-ee)
➥ Malay word meaning ‘the love’
➥ Kasi (Kah-see : familiar, equal), Miss Sisi (familiar, youth), Ma’am (slight derogatory, respect), Lady (respect), Ears (derogatory, negative), Waddles (derogatory, negative), Old Hag (you wanna get smeked?)
➥ (The) - Dragoness, Eon, Exalted, Lady of the Scale
The most defining feature of Kasi are her scales that vary in numerous red and pink colors. The scales look similarly to a dragon rather than a pangolin, being smaller than a Pangolin's would, but provide the same type of armor both creatures would. The scales overlap to allow maximum movement, so if the Lady is in need of defending herself, she may resort to the telltale defense of the pangolin by curling up into a tight, impenetrable ball. The scales are extremely hard, and can only be penetrated at certain angles if she is not curled up. Because of her draconic heritage, the scales also provide an uncanny magical resistance. Should a scale become lose and fall off, it may be used as a temporary amulet to ward off magic short a short period of time. Works with any magic, including healing (which could be very detrimental to the wearer).
¤
Silver hair sprouts from her brows, muzzle, down her neck to her underbelly all the way to the tip of her tail. The hair is very wirey and course on her head, but gets softer the farther down her body it goes. It doesn't look like it, but it's very thick and provides a lot of warmth, perfect for incubating eggs and keeping young warm.
¤
Kasi's muzzle is rather squared with a triangular, almost bat-like nose, proving to be far more draconic than pangolin. However, her eyes are very poor from her pangolin heritage, so she recognizes others from scent with her powerful nose. Her old age has also done a number on her eyes, her pupils clouded over by cataracts and giving her a mysterious appearance.
¤
Another very defining feature is Kasi's very long and floppy ears. Another part of her draconic heritage that exaggerated her pangolin features, the ears are limp and unable to move very much. Hearing is rather good, and it's quite remarkable they are unmarred.
¤
Front limbs are long and thickly built and taper off into small, but strong paws. Nails are extremely sharp, and are shovel-shaped to allow remarkable digging. Able to slightly hold onto objects, but lacking a fully functional opposable thumb to actually use objects like tools. Hind legs are not as thickly built or as long as the front, but thigh muscles are strong enough to allow Kasi to walk slightly bipedal (much like a pangolin can).
¤
Tail is longer than it appears (due to scale coverage from her haunches), and is semi-prehensile. Will use her tail for balance (mostly while walking bipedal), but also to grab things, even other creatures (especially young to keep them safe).
¤
Unlike a pangolin, she is able to move her jaw and possesses many tiny teeth to allow threading of flesh. Does not like foliage, or meat, so prefers to feed on insects. Can digest foliage and meat however. has the pangolins long, sticky tongue to help with gathering ants and other insects. Doesn't typically like to show it, so feeds alone.
¤
Draconic ancestry allowed two antler-like horn growths on the top of her head (which are much longer on males). They are strictly aesthetic, having no real function. Numerous, tiny claw marks cover them, suggesting at one point or another, she allowed her children to hold onto her from there.
¤
Very muscular despite not being able to see under her scales. She is powerful when she wants to be, but prefers talking over physical violence. Will however, use her brawn to her advantage if absolutely needed.
¤
Underneath her long belly fur, she has a marsupial like pouch. It is unknown where it came from in terms of genetics or if perhaps it was an adaption to her colder homeland, but her species possess them. Mostly used to keep eggs close at all times considering the nomadic tendencies of her species.
¤
She can run rather fast, but is more of a sprinter than a long distance runner. Due to age, tires easily, and if in a desperate need to get away, will resort to climbing larger trees to escape if rolling into a ball does not dissuade attackers.
¤
Although mammalian in body, does in fact lay eggs similar to a platypus. Can only lay up to two eggs at a time, and will carry them around in her pouch until they hatch. Eggs develop in utero for about a month, and then spend another month within the pouch.
¤
Even though she can only have up to two children at a time, she possesses eight nipples. This allows her children to nurse no matter where they happen to be near her body. They also allow the ability to accommodate adoptions.

⥎
Motherly - Kasih exudes the feeling of maternity. Always quick to comfort young ones, and even baby those who definitely don’t need it. Her most apparent personality trait, and the most defining.
Patient - Being mother, this also comes with patience. A calm voice, gentle words, thoughtful gaze. She is a firm believer that young should learn from their mistakes, and while protective she isn’t so much of a ‘helicopter’ parent.
Forgiving - Along with patience, she is very forgiving to those she is familiar with, but especially children. She would rather forgive and forget rather than hold grudges, though there are few she is reluctant to truly forgive considering the severity of past discretions.
Kind - As a benevolent creature, she is always willing to extend a helping paw to those who need it. Does not judge on appearances, so she may look out of place among less liked individuals.
Loyal - Faithful to the very end, particularly with her late mate, Adi Putera. Once you earn her friendship, she will stick with you through thick and thin.
⥐
Clingy - Once she likes you, she will hardly ever give you space. Always wanting to make sure you’re alright, probably to the point of being unknowingly annoying. Italian Grandma just wants to give you a 90 course dinner ok.
Possessive - Prone to hurt should she not get her much needed time with those she loves. Those that are her family, are hers alone. She doesn't exactly like to share, especially children.
Jealous - Along with being Possessive, does get rather jealous when her loved ones are with others. Doesn’t necessarily show this, but does suffer internally from it.
Aggressive - Usually only seen when children, especially her own, are in danger. While she doesn’t often raise claws to others, she will show teeth and roar to get her point across.
Insecure - Often plagued by thoughts of losing others. After losing her mate, keeps those she cares about close. Her journey to the forest, while it didn’t break bonds with her family, it gave her a new sense of starting over and keeping what is new.

Does not like being referred to as old. Appreciates respectable terms like Lady or Miss, but does not particularly like being called Ma'am but will accept it. While Lady could be referred to as proper and respectable as well as Ma'am, Ma'am just seemed old to her and YOU NEVER ASK A LADY HER AGE OK. And she's really fekkin old. /smek
¤
Kasi is not exactly active physically. I mean, she is old, so she's not as hyper or energetic as her younger counterparts. She is perfectly happy relaxing with others, or cuddling. She loves cuddling.
¤
Holds many titles in her home world, one being Queen although technically there is no hierarchy in her species. She rejects being called such, as she is more about equality among peers, and motherly towards youth.
¤
Does not take kindly to insults. She is patient with children who may jeer her strange appearance, but she won't hesitate to chase off kids who are downright bullies to other children (especially her own).
¤
Speaks respectably, and without contractions. Very eloquent and uses large words. May often speak in her own language without her even noticing (slight dementia).
¤
Hates humans. This goes for regular humans, and humans who transform into animals.
More to be added upon Forest interactions and RP
Egghood
Egghood can be considered normal. Nothing much is known aside from that.
Birth
Only knows information passed on from her parents. Was told that she had a sibling, but the other egg failed to hatch. Knows that she was a strong hatchling and had little trouble surviving her first few days.
Childhood
Most memories of childhood are also memories from her parents. Recalls her almost ridiculous taste for ants, and for once trying to eat a spider in it’s web but got the web instead. Apparently she had run around screaming for an hour after her parents were able to get it off her. To this day, does not eat spiders and finds them rather freakin evil :|
Adolescence
Memories are foggy, but at least they come from her. (Around this time, she was about 15 years old mentally.) At this time however, she was no longer with her parents, having gone off on her own like others of her species and age do. Does stay in the territory her parents usually roamed, but was sure to keep out of their scales.
Although hardly an adult yet, she was capable of hunting for her own food, making places to sleep and defending herself.
One of her fondest memories would be seeing many of her species roaming together in a giant herd. Contemplated joining them to see the world, and after given her parents blessing (because they were traditional in a sense to stay within a certain territory although nomadic…), joined them.
Adulthood
Being a part of the giant Penaga herd, she grew up with many others of her kind. A part of her truly missed the valley she was raised in, but seeing the rest of the world meant having more opportunities. She had many favorite places within the world of Bumi, which provided rich memories. During this time she learned about the various religions of her kind, though it wasn’t required to be a worshipper herself. She doesn’t consider herself religious, but finds the stories more fascinating than anything.
Laut Emas: Otherwise known as the Gold Sea. The sea itself was of course not gold, but the way the sun hit it in the early morning, the waters exploded into gold and orange colors, giving it the appearance of molten gold.
Gunung Kembar: The Twin Mountains at the northmost part of their world, known for their near equal heights and constant snowcaps. Had originally wanted to climb to the very tops, but was warned of a monster that was known for killing their kind and using their scales in magic rituals.
Pasir Biru: The Blue Sands of the south. Unlike the gold sea who got its name from light reflections, the Blue sands are actually blue. The composition of the sand are ground up sapphires. Legends speaks of a god of Earth who chewed mountains and spat out tiny gemstones to create this desert. For religious Penaga, it is considered a bad omen to take any of the sand.
Yang Dibayangi: The Shadowed is a forest that is almost constantly shadowed by surrounding mountains. Nocturnal beasts thrive here because of the almost constant twilight atmosphere. Lightning bugs flourish here, and are considered a delicacy among religious Penaga.
Hutan Cendawan: The swamps of the southwest, otherwise known as the Mushroom Woods. Mushrooms grow in abundance underneath the tall, umbrella-like trees that keep the light from passing correctly. It’s a rather dead area, but the bioluminescence is stunning, and Kasi can honestly say it’s worth the trip.
Lembing: The human city of Lembing. Once a place that truly fascinated Kasi and encourage some rather risky attempts at Glamour, now a place to avoid. She will not deny the majesty that the humans have created however, no matter how much she hates them.
Selama-Lamanya: The waterfall of eternity. The tallest waterfall from the tallest mountain in the world of Bumi. It is said that the water falls as ice, then snow, but on the way down turns to water before it hits the Eternity pool. The pool is holy, and bathing oneself in it supposedly cleanses the soul while drinking from it is strictly forbidden (to very religious Penaga).
Meeting Adi Putera
Her most cherished memory.
When Kasi was finally of age to take a mate, she traveled to Batu Matahari, a special location for Penaga ready to court. Batu Matahari was a beautiful place, trees ranging from various greens, to golds and reds. In the center of the small valley was a rock that looked like a giant yellow crystal. Ancient Penaga lore states that if the sun reflects off of the crystal onto two individuals, it meant they were supposed to be together. But it was found out years later that it would reflect every way due to the internal notches, so the ritual was discontinued. Now Penaga are free to choose who they want (though they technically always had that ability.)
Kasi did not find anyone who she felt truly suited her, which was actually quite distressing. She wandered off to the edge of the valley to overlook the Gold Sea, where she found a male who was doing just that. Where she was red and pink in hue, he was golds and oranges, and could easily blend into some of the surrounding foliage. Before she could turn away and leave him alone, he was speaking to her.
“It is alright, you can stay.” She looked over to see him looking at her, and she noted how his face was more reddish, like hers.
“Oh, well...I do not wish to intrude.”
“There is no intruding here, Miss.” His smile was warm and kind, and Kasi could feel her young heart flutter. She moved and sat near him, looking to him as he looked back across the water. His horns had grown to a respectable length, and she could tell he was strong. But he had a soft heart, admiring the beauty of the world around him rather than sparring with the other males. She found herself admiring him.
The two of them spent the entire week together, admiring the beauty around them. They talked a lot, speaking of their travels, their families, their hopes for the future. They did not need the glow of the Sunstone to know that they had fallen in love with each other. Like the others who had found their soul mates, they traveled together, leaving the Sunstone behind.
The Birth of Agung and Mas Ayu
After many years, learning each others quirks, and finding a decent location to travel for the rest of their lives, they settled down (so to speak). The two had both decided that they wanted children, a large family. As per tradition, Adi Putera courted Kasih with gifts of many colors, ranging from feathers, flowers, stones, gemstones, pelts, and leaves. He created her a Open In Hutan Pelangi, or glade of rainbows. Here they would mate, and Kasih would stay until she laid her eggs and they could move on again once they were safely in her pouch. While in the Glade, Adi Putera would bring her food, allowing the first stage of growth for their young to go without trouble.
Two eggs were laid a month later, and the new to-be parents took down their glade and moved on once the eggs were within Kasi’s pouch.
Another month went by and the quaking within the eggs warned Kasih that her children were coming. The mother and father to-be found a thicket surrounded by brambles, and curled around one another as they watched their children break from their eggs. The first to draw breath, a female, was named Mas Ayu. She was the spitting image of her father, save for a streak of red scales along her sides, inherited by her mother. The second, a male who they named Agung, was a deep amber color with a pale gold face. They were healthy hatchlings, and Adi Putrera and Kasih could not be more proud.
The Death of Adi Putera
Over the next hundred or so years, Adi and Kasi had many other children, grandchildren and so on. They lived peacefully, but rumor was traveling that many of their kind was going missing. There were some speculations that portals had opened up and had taken individuals, but hardly anyone believed such things. The most obvious and believable stories, was that humans had begun hunting them. They had lived in relative peace with the humans for thousands of years, it is unknown why suddenly they would start killing them. Penaga’s are immortal in a sense that they do not die of old age, but can succumb to injury, sickness and disease.
When word came to Adi and Kasi’s ears that there was a possibility humans had entered their territory, the male went off to confront them if they actually were there. The duo were about peace, and if they could figure out the truth, they could ease their species fears.
After a week without her mate, Kasih gathered some of her older children and went off to find him. She was confident that he had done what he had set out to do, but having her children with her came as a precaution. A precaution she would realize was actually needed.
Adi was found surrounded by humans, spears, arrows and other weapons sticking out of his gut. The sight was not just agonizing for Kasih, but also for her children. It was only their combined might that chased off the humans, their pain filled roars echoing through their world. Kasih was able to speak to Adi before he took his last dying breath, the tears they shared ones they never wished their children would ever have had to witness.
They learned that the rumors were true, that humans had found out that their scales possessed powerful magic, and that when ground into a powder or put in a potion, they could cure many illnesses. Adi had transformed into a humanoid form to be less imposing, but it left him vulnerable to the attacks of the humans. His trust in them was wrong, and it ended up in his death.
Bringing his body to the place where he had made her glade of rainbows, Kasih and her children dug him a grave, and decorated the area just as it had been all those years ago. It would be a family memorial.
Kasih raised her latest clutch alone, but when they were old enough to take care of themselves, she went off on her own, away from the territory she and Adi had once roamed.
Following The Essence
Many years past, during that time Kasih had taken care of many creatures who had been orphaned, and giving them protection from humans should they appear. When she was once again alone, a vision came to her. This vision, was of her mate Adi Putera. Although she could not physically embrace him, she rubbed her head into his essence and breathed in his scent. He told her to follow him, and she did. They walked for days, maybe months or years. She didn’t know. She didn’t care. She was with her mate again, and that was all that mattered to her.
It was too late for her to realize, but those many years ago with the rumors about portals was also true. She had followed her mates essence through a portal, which lead her into a world of darkness. The darkness wasn’t frightening, not with the golden light of her mate lighting the way. But soon, it appeared they were heading to a forest. Adi went through, and kasih followed. But as soon as she stepped onto the grass of the new world, she lost consciousness.
Forest Life
Family Blood, and adopted go here.
Adi Putera: Mate. Deceased. Killed by hunters who wanted to use his scales in magical potions. Managed to recover his body intact thanks to help given by her numerous children. Constantly mourning his loss, but also knowing he is in a better place. Was lead to the forest by his lingering essence.
The Children: Over Kasih’s lifetime, she had many children, far too many to name. This also includes adopting many, unable to turn a blind eye to those without family.
➥ Her first clutch however, will always be recognized. A son and daughter by the names of Agung and Mas Ayu respectively.
Other Family: This includes grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and so on. She has no known siblings.
Friends Speaks for itself.
Positive Those she had met and had positive interactions with.
Negative Those she had met and had negative interactions with.
Enemies You done fekked up. Humans: This goes for regular humans, and humans who transform into animals. They are not trusted. Animals who transform into humans do not fall in this category.
