After a few days rest (and because Soli lost muse), Aine went to locate Draven to no avail. Found her usual herd-mates Verve and Thais watching a duo duke it off (Acaji and Cadaver). Greeted the familiar does as well as the little fawn Gia (/sob) and a new face (Arry). Gawked at the poor female who had an arrow through her face though felt awkward that she was staring so pulled her eyes away.

Was increasingly appalled that a little fawn (Isabeau) kept jumping into fight attacking the black stag while the two dueled. Followed Verve and Thais when they moved off, didn't want to be responsible for the fawns injury. Was approached by Cadaver moments after. Made the connection that the little fawn had something to do with him by her following him. Kinda...unimpressed that this stag let his child fight while he was fighting another large stag. Somehow decided to be brave for once and break off from her usual group and go check on the other combatant who was left with the white fawn and the arrow doe.

Hopped around with this new group for a while after Acaji greeted her and she herself made sure both small fawnsdoes were alright. After a bit of playing Cad called over to her (I think?). Sorta just looked in his direction and inched closer to Acaji. Pretty much made her decision. Might reconsider Cad if he can control his fawn and keep her out of fights, as he was a good fighter.

Sat with Acaji, Gia and Arry for a while until Red approached with a harem of his own and initiated a duel with Acaji. Moved off to a tree to observe alongside Gia.

10/9/14
Located Draven and his herd, feeling much more comfortable in the presence of him and the other females. Draven and verve were asleep, but was immediately greeted by Thais. Happy to see the other doe. Draven got up a few minutes later and the small group played together (of course Aine was hopping in place pretty much, the scardycat). Giggles all around with Thais and Verve teasing the stag and even each other.

Then Draven poofed. NOOOOO DRAVEN!

Thais suddenly took over. Magicked antlers or something and started strutting around. Was pretty funny at first until she started to spar with The Red. Shared Verve's discomfort but otherwise didn't let it outwardly known.

After that Verve left, then Thais. Seems Verve was a bit upset over the whole thing. Decided to hang back with Severa and wait for Draven to return (or possibly someone else to collect them). Lilu approached. Realized that she had no idea what her home world smelled like before, but somehow knew that Lilu reminded her of it. Pretty happy to have the feathered doe around and hoping Verve and Thais come back soon.

Later on Draven and The Red were fighting it up to impress the judges. Impressed at both really, but decided to stick to Draven simply because she knew him better, but still keeping in mind that The Red is a worthy opponent.

Sat around with Draven, content to be alone with him while watching the herd closeby.

Met Dollface. Then Draven poofed. D:

Totally mistook Dollface as a little female fawn /sob. Indulged in some play with the smaller one pretty certain this poor fawn needed looking after. And then a Thorne. Quickly and embarrassingly realized that NO, DOLLFACE IS NOT A FAWN. In fact, she's not even a she.

Stood around awkwardly but was glad to be around someone she knew so stuck to Thorne and his friend.

Found Draven with Verve and Thais. Greeted all (with a very happy and bouncy Draven hehe) then sat down with them until Verve had to go. Got up when Thais moved off a bit and was coaxed into play by the doe.

[8:52:18 PM] Skeleloquy: And Sorry Aine is so awkward, she doesn't really know how to play and she's afraid of jumping too far. Part gazelle...and too afraid of jumping /facepalm

Hopped around a bit with the doe before Draven noticed they moved and came to join in.

Draven lead the does over to where Kato had gathered a small herd of his own. Greeted them before taking a seat in the blueberries. Decided to sample a few, finding them to her liking.

It has been - a pretty - enjoyable day.

Woke up with a sudden anxiety at being alone. The scents of the forest smelled so much more intense and bared down on the small doe like a wolf on it's prey. Quickly trotted off. Managed to sniff out draven surrounded by a bunch of others. Draven noticed her immediately lingering (Because Shy Aine Is Shy), got up and hopped over to her (which made Soli AWWW RL because AWWWW). Felt relieved to see him and somehow managed to slip herself amongst the group. Greeted them all and was greeted back by Thais. Sat sown in the flowers with the others, relaxing some, but incredibly alert.

So many things happening, unable to take it all in. Sticking close to Dravens herd, trusts him the most after all. Most of the others left after a while, fairly certain Sac's constant bellowing drove them off. Was tempted to run off after them but stuck with Luyu and Galene. Pretty happy she did since Sac left, and Thorne moved in. Feeling pretty comfortable again, though does wish the others from earlier come back.

Mier came back. Though male and intimidating to Aine, was relieved he returned. Nodded her approval at him before sitting back close to Lu and Gal. Joined by Draven who sat close by. Then joined by Mieraak, Leviathan and Djinn. Content.

Watched Draven and Thorne being good protectors. Thais rejoined later, quick to get up and greet the red doe before sitting back down. Quite alert but really calm. Noticed Mieraak go over to a doe across the stream and seem to invite her over. Got up to greet the newcomer then sat back down. Oddly happy about being in the middle of so many deer despite her usual paranoia.

At some point all hell broke loose. Lieva, Gal, and Halla were harassing Draven. Anxiety rose. Herd scattered. Stuck to Draven and Thorne since they were familiarities. Cadaver and Leviathan joined in against Draven. Displayed her displeasure over the unfairness. When all was said and done, went to check on the male. Unsure what made her do it, but rubbed her muzzle against his shoulder slightly and joined him when he sat down.

Draven vanished. Suddenly panic. Alone again. Was approached by Lee, still iffy about her from before no just nodded and stayed put until Lee left. Moved off to Thorne who was sleeping nearby. Hopes wherever Draven went hes ok.

Rut Interests:

Draven: The first stag who had shown some true interest in her and even protection while she quite literally clung to her trees. As the rut began, found herself attracted to the male for his protection he had given her thus far, and also that he had become a familiarity. While perhaps not seeing him as a love interest (because woh that would be really fast), does hope to get on speaking terms with him at some point as the extent of their conversations are sniffing and simply sitting close to each other.

Thorne: Second stag...wolf...thing - that had shown some interest in her. Initially, and probably still, a bit turned off by his predacious appearance (them teeth be scurry o-o), but does find him polite and quiet company and pretty much doesn't mind his closeness. Will likely seek out if Draven is not in the vicinity, possibly even more-so if he is in the company of Laz.

Laz: Thorne's equine friend with a human face. Finds him perhaps more appealing than most deer due to his human face which reminds her of her past and helping humans young and old find their ways. Doesn't know to well however, so will likely be the last of the three to go to should she want/need company. Also finds him polite and quiet company and doesn't mind his presence.
