This Bio needs a catastrophic big Remake 10.8.15 Had a successful hunt and went to the ruins to devour his reward. Was suddenly glomped by a dark stag, who later revealed himself as being called Sagremor. Though usually being a shy guy with this kind of greeting, he was too full and happy to scoot away. Also the other seemed familiar with body language and allowed the wolf to sniff him out. Soon spent the time with the stag side by side, while exchanging cuddly gestures. Was told the name of this new acquaintance, though he couldn't grace the deer with the same honor. Luckily Sagremor is a wise specimen and indeed found out why. Listened to the black one's stories and tried to reply as good as body language and expression allowed him. In the midst of that learned a secret from the other Faolán wasn't sure what to make out of it but accepted it after some convincing. Sagremor seemed like a kind soul after all. Promised him to help him in the future, he wasn't sure if the answer the grey could provide was the one the stag was looking for. Later the two were joined by God-Kissed. Rested with the two until he had to take his leave. 27.06.2015 Spent most of the time in the forest today with either sleeping, wandering or goofing around by himself. Still wonders why the inhabitants of this place bow so strangely before him. Wonders if that is some kind of greeting? Or maybe humans taught them that. Mother always tells how humans teach the animals they keep tricks, that sometimes are senseless and just amuse the human being. Around the end of his stay though, the grey stray met the giant creature (Ezekiel) again he saw sleeping near the other day. Approached him carefully, not sure how the other might react. Or how his approach would be taking in as the wolf didn’t know what kind of animal that was. It seemed calm and patient enough though with Fao and accepted the canine’s submissive approach. Tried reach for the others side and back (not that he was big enough anyway), but got refused. Showed his side and laid down. After all Fao forgot his manners here and maybe the other took this not lightly. Happy to be accepted in the end though, even had the other laying down next to him. Rested with him until he had to leave. 24.06.2015 Entered to snow. What a nice thing, though it was summer outside. The nameless felt a little cold, hence he had his summer fur, but nothing too bad. A nice distraction considering the heat and life outside. Tried to make friends with a big fellow, a predator as it seemed (Ezekiel). Wasn't suggestful though, as the other seemed to sleep very deeply. Nothing bad about that. Their size and obvious strength allowed them so. Fao went to Red Hill, sleeping his time away to wake up into a nightly setting. So this place DOES have time... yet. How often or how long does it take to happen? How long had he slept? Felt is spirits rise beyond. Night was his time, the time of his kind. Made a fresh kill, a fat, round rabbit. Of course after he made sure, this wasn't a form changer or an associate of someone. Enjoying his meal near the pond. Who knows, this night when he goes back home, his pack might be up for some big game hunt. Until then enjoys the peace. Though this weather pinches up the mood. Would be nice to have someone to howl with at times like these in this place. (Anyone up for RP during in-forest night time? Not bound to in-forest action and can go on beyond night time!) 04.06.2015 Went to the the pond to drink and got himself a fish in the process. Rested near the pond, enjoying his meal when an owl-deer approached him. (name please) Not sure what the other wanted with his bowing, but greeted them with sniffing. Maybe they wanted to play? Circled the other, not sure how to approach. How does one approach a deer you want to play with instead of eat? Sonne knew wolves, he knew their behavior, so Fao never learned how the deery-way worked. But do deer really bow to each other? Confused while working around the owldeer, not sure if the other wanted contact or not. Got a spell again, this time his first antler spell. Dammit!! What that sorcery again!!?? Ran of, confused and somewhat frightened by that magic, even more confused when the other antlers returned (I like to torture that poor sod XD) Noticed after a time, he was followed by someone. Kept running for a bit, but eventually slowed down when his pursuer didn't gave up. Only now noticed that it was a child (Adelaide). A pup of strange color and partly deer, but it acted like one of his kind. Let it approach, feeling much more secure with someone talking his language around. Also couldn't help but feeling impressed by the kid's stamina at this age! Settled down with the youngling. Couldn't be bad to have some company here and the pup was very kind and welcoming, too. Was approached later by another pup (Devereux), the same species seemingly as the female next to Faolán, but from a different look. A male, more shy that his first friend, but kind and patient and welcoming non the less. The group grow even bigger, when they were joined by one more. This time a complete canine looking one. White and grey, a male teenager similar in looks to a wolf, but more slender and fragile in build. And the grey wasn't sure why the teen didn't let himself be identified. But did it matter? He was just as kind as the two puppies. Also they shared many scentmarks, among those of themselves and each other. Maybe siblings, maybe members of the same pack? None the less, enjoyed their presence as again, they were most welcoming, even the older one. Felt himself growing braver and stronger with a group of faces that grew now familiar to him. Considers sharing bits of his prey in future with them. And maybe, just maybe they will teach him about this place. Joined later on for a short moment by one more slender looking wolf-like canine (Lina). Female and snow white, with a red marking at the back of her head. Had to think of some members of his pack and wondered if this lady was coming from their home or maybe inherited some blood of them. Spent the rest of the evening with the nice little group around, feeling so secure he could sleep with ease. 31.052015 Took a drink at the pond. Looked through the forest, found a big hill to rest. Confronted by an older hart (The Red). Kind of got curious about this. Tried his best to prowl closer to find out, very young fawns were hiding there. Wanted to try his luck to see how close he can get. Received a good chase by the hart and another, bigger red stag (Saosin). Tired, rested for a while, or tried at least, as other deer approached him again and again as if it was nothing. Went back to the red deer, came much closer this time around, but received a good lection by the mother (Kauna) this time. Later got scared the shit out of him when the devout pelt was cast onto him. What is this sorcery!!!?? Later made contact with other fawns. (Big apologies to those I couldn't name. My map doesn't load and the in-game pictos act up, so I don't have any identification of your charas ;____; ) 30.05.2015 Confused about this new place and tall the deer practically jumping into his arms. |

Nameless Wolf, "Faolán" or "Haar" Lonely Grey, Gray Stray, Bastard Around 3 Years Born in April, exact day unknown Male Northern Grey Wolf Standard Size of a wolf his kind and age Reference Picto Grey pelt, real-deer mask, owl antlers Howl Growl/Snarl Whine Predator scent, wood, moss, soil, the forest and the outside world His pack outside - He doesn’t talk - He communicates only through body language (mainly wolf/canine, sometimes adding human gestures His Tumblr The stag found him, when the grey wolf was just a pup and all alone. He took the child under his wings and gave the stray the name "Faolán". Fao owes that Irish elk his life in more than one way, as the bull kept him alive and warm and made sure he wouldn't die of hunger or thirst, as much as he kept asking Fao's foster pack to take him in over and over again until the adults agreed. The stag also taught him about the endless forest and warned about the ups and downs of that place, hence why Fao doesn't hunt deer in this place for food or killing purpose. Loves, blind trust. Something like a big brother and a father to the wolf, would do anything for him. Had his ups and downs with the pack in younger years, as he is older than their litter of pups from that time around and not family related. Has a pretty low rank in the pack, but gained his respect and affection over time, until he became the valued member that he is now. They still could have killed him after all. Instead was raised and taught by the leading pair and received care from the mother wolf after her litter of that time wasn't sorely depended on milk anymore. Calls the leading pair mother and father as their other children do despite being not related to them. Though names didn't mean much in the wild world outside, he received the name "Haar" (scott. Word for 'Fog') from the pack. Loves, though varies for each member. Deeply trusts. Loyal even beyond his straying habit. Friend of Sonne, so also his friend and a part of the family in his eyes. Trusted and highly liked. Sees the doe as rather motherly and playful so far, yet would love to know much more about this hind. Teenager, male. Smells of flowers and forest. Especially dandelions. Fluffy and tailless. Doesn't like to identify or be identified. Playful, welcoming. Kind, likes closeness. Interested to learn more about him. Wolf? Deer? Something else? Female, playful and persistent. Great stamina, able to keep up with a running adult. May become a strong hunter one day, if interested in that. Kind, playful. Likes closeness, willing to work for affection. Determined and respecting. Respects her in return for this. Interested to learn more about her. Wolf? Deer? Something else? Male, strong build, a lot of fur. Playful, though more reserved at first. Patient, shy but brave. Playful, welcoming, kind. Likes closeness, though seems to prefer pack members. Shares a lot of scents with Adelaide. Possibly siblings with her? Interested to learn more about him. Young, female, white. slender looks. Short meeting. Interested to learn more about. Perceived as a kind individual with a kind of dark secret. Likes though, as the stag has nothing against physical contact and understands the language Faolán is communicating with. Would love to meet more often and get to know better. Determined to keep his promise he gave to the black and white stag. Met only for a short moment when relaxing with Sagremor. Finds very interesting though, would like to learn more about the doe. Sees the tundra wolf as equal in species and companionship, submissive towards in things of ranking. Will likely seek out when the off-white is close. Will follow if asked. Feels save and sound around the other male, as this friend has a high and sensitive reaction and understanding of Faolán's canine language. Considered friend and a new pack member, or at least a companion in straying. Has yet to learn the wolf-dog's name and calls him red pup in his mind for now. Highly interested though a little bit unsure how to handle the other. Sees canine language in him but also a mixture of other behaviors playing into it. Not quite sure on how to handle it, but as of now positive that these are things that will be figured out soon. Feels a small spark of protectiveness at the time, the puppy scheme and behavior waking a soft spot in the grey wolf. Faolán is a calm member of his kind, though at sometimes his curiosity can be sparked by his counterpart's behavior. He has a somewhat shy side to himself and in a place as confusing as the endless forest, without any friend or familiar face, he is very like to scoot away from other deer, that approach too hastily too fast, immediately cuddle or come close at bad times (like when he made kill, seeing this as a try to steal his food). This has nothing to do with liking or disliking another character, he just acts like all wild animals that have a more careful side. To approach him, respectful calm persistence is the key. He is not a fan of big ruckus and may flee, the wilder you get around him. Faolán also doesn't like others to touch his back or side at first. Respectful greeting happens first at the face than at the butt (well, a canine after all). Though he has still his prey drive from outside, he also has experience and enough knowledge to know trying to kill a deer in this place is a bad idea. Big game without a pack is out of the question anyway, and what he learned from Sonne about TEF in younger years and from his pack about humans is that even trying to get weak or small deer can spark a human like revenge drive. His prey inside the forest rather includes small things, like birds, rodents, frogs, fish and occasionally berries and roots. He may try to nip on carcasses, but will give big predators their way on big ones, even if he tries to steal some piece before leaving. Unlikely to share his own kills of small prey, even if he is chased, he most likely carries his reward with him then. Faolán only fights, if it is absolute necessary and impossible to flee. Even as a grown wolf with teeth and claws fight means waste of energy and chances of wounds, which is not an option for a wild beast, if avoidable. The most common thing he would use instead deal out would be a short snap into his opponents direction to make his point clear. That is also only used if necessary. (He will threat thoroughly before though, so don't say you haven't be warned) He also has antler in the forest, but no idea how to use them yet. So a blow by them might be just a lucky hit with no intention. Cautious, most likely to approach wolf like creatures with the necessary respect. Depending on their behavior and looks, very unlikely to let himself be smelled at the first try. He is simply not used to have animals that normally either flee from wolves or chase them with aggression or mockingly fun, approach him in a cuddly or playful way. (Might get used to it over time, but for now he is a freshman.) ΔΔ I will polish this over time, but for now here some simple explanations: Fao doesn't bow for greeting. If he sniffs you, this is actually a friendly hello. If he first goes to your face, than your backside, this a most respectful greeting, especially combined with the fear/cowering action. Bowing and sad expression shows that he is feeding on something or killing a small animal. (Birds, Rabbits, Frogs, Squirrels etc.), Can be combined with nodding and/or shaking his head, showing he is shaking his prey in his mouth or tearing out pieces. If those actions above are shown in water he is fishing. The threat motion is still a threat, though it means more that he is snarling or growling than using his antlers. Combined with cowering it is an insecure threat. Cowering can mean fear, but doesn't necessarily. For Faolán it mainly means submission with a curled in tail or lowering to hide (positive and negative). Laying can mean three things: Resting (if done after a hunt, he is probably eating), hiding or laying in wait. The moo-ing motion means of course ´howling´. Most of the time, he moos three to for times in a row, which actually stands for just one long howl. Bowing alone or followed by a jump means playing. It is suppose to be the canine playpose. That's an invitation, dude! He wants to play with you! :- Sometimes the bow is combined with cowering and jumping. Submissive play, but still play. Laughing just means rolling around with him; rolling the dirt, rolling the water. What is there wolves don't like to roll in XD When Faolán represents his side, it is a silent submissive stance. He is showing you his vulnerable side, therefore want to show you his is no threat and respects your ground. Sometimes after Faolán sniffed your front he will go to the back, trying to sniff there. Well, if you know canines, you know this is something natural for them to identify each other. He won't however insist on this. If you turn away from this action, he will first offer you his backside and if not used seize the progress. |

The tundra wolf sat in the shadows below a mushroom tree, grumbling to himself in Russian about "freaks" running here and there. Arkady has been very weary and not-so friendly the moment he arrived in the Forest. Didn't help that strange beings with human-like faces came up to him every once in a while either.
The male's ears immediately pricked when he spotted another male wolf that had darker colors then himself, and cervine aspects like himself also. Arkady stood up and slowly walked over, back straight, and tail parallel with his spine. He barred his teeth and growled to show that he was there. He made eye contact with the wolf and said with a thick Russian accent, "Wolf?" he made a small whine nose to show that he doesn't want to fight. However he didn't break eye contact and showed the whites of his eyes, his tail still parallel with his spine and the ground below.
In contrast to his as of now
That thought occupied his mind, while he was sniffing for some possible left overs, until a growl took his attention and he raised his head, amber eyes fixing on the source.
There, in front of him, stood another wolf, graced with antlers just like Faolán himself. But in contrast to Fao the pale grey got deer hooves, too.
The grey wolf remained still for a moment, watching the gestures of his opposite intently. Tense, but showing with a whine that the white one had no intention to fight. Maybe a hint of insecurity? One thing was clear though, the off-white waited for Faolán’s response.
And so, since Faolán was a calm and submissive being by nature, he wagged his tail in a slightly lowered position. His big head lowered a bit with ears drawn back and a widespread hackle, he showed the other that he was not interested in battle or in taking the dominant position.
His body shook a little from left to right in the pace of his wagging tail, as his upper body and head indicated over and over to go in a playful position, even if the dark-grey didn’t let himself slip fully into it.

Oooh wanna meet him ^-^
Arkady was a bit glad that
His own posture still stood, back straight. However, now that he knows the other submissive wolf doesn't want to fight, Arkady's tail was wagging. His eyes still directed towards the darker male's, he padded a few steps closer, not feeling as tense as he was before now that he at least knew another wolf inhabited this strange Forest. The Tundra sniffed the submissive one a little closer now, his tail wagging a little bit more. Then Arkady gave a small snarl, to show off his dominance once again.
Vee: Thanks, man!!! MB: Just
MB: Just keep a lookout in the forest. Every now and when he is there for a visit and chills around.

Faolàn accepted that statement of domination, now lowering his tail even more into submission without stopping to wag it in a friendly way though.
As the other male approached, so did the darkgrey colored advance to his kinsmen, greeting him by letting the off-white take in his scent, which among other things told of the outside world and bared the scent marks of his own pack and its alphas, while Faolán did the same, learning whatever the odor of the light-grey might give away.
Upon the reassurance of the other males dominance, Faolán turned and gave his new acquaintance soft nudges with his nose and licks at the lower jaw of the tundra-wolf to agree to the others leadership, while he himself cowered to make himself look less threatening.
With dulled jumps and bowing motions he tried to coax the off-white into playing.

The Tundra relaxed a bit more when the darker male's tail lowered more, he himself stopped barring his teeth and growling. Coming to the conclusion that the gray wolf didn't want to fight. Arkady took in his scent, as he realized that he wasn't from this Forest either. His own pack's scent had faded away, as he left a long while ago.
Arkady didn't snap or growl when the yearling came closer and licked him, he began to trust the other male a bit more. The lighter wolf put his nose to the side of the gray wolf's muzzle, as his tail wagged more. Having not seen another one of his kin for a long period of time, he accepted the gray wolf's playfulness. However, he still stood his dominance. The tundra wolf lowered his front quarters into a bow as he wagged his tail. The hair on his flank started to go down, as he was feeling more and more relaxed towards the other male's behavior.
No worries, Ivy. Take the

From the lack of any scentmarks in the others fur, Faolán could only guess that the off-white male was a loner. But what the smaller one did notice and recognized was the scent of the outside world. Deep forests, far open spaces, snow in abundance.
Wonderful!
And the fact that the Tundra started to calm down was another plus. So Fao decided to keep this direction: He jumped from the other, tail still in a wagging motion, approaching him with sudden moves than jumping away with the same speed. In between the lowered front. The dark grey tried to coax the big adult into a playful chase, offering himself as the “prey”.

The Tundra's tail wagged as he was still low to the ground, he jumped back and raised his front quarters as his eyes gleamed. He sprinted towards the darker colored male and hopped, he trotted fairly fast around the male and flopped his tail on his back.
Arkady kept doing this, circling around him fast, and hopping. Then all at once he sprinted towards the male and showed his teeth playfully. The lighter colored male wagged his tail as he raised his paws in a "clawing" motion.
(Again, don't worry, as you

Faolán tried his best to match those movements in jumping and later turning with the other wolf to keep his side and back as long in the others field of view as possible. His ears laid low against his neck, but the tail was still ever wagging.
As soon as the of white jumped towards him, the dark grey tried to give him a little space and plan his own jump, but the turn-a-rounds took their toll on Fao's sense of balance as he was rather dizzy and falling to his side, having a hard time finding his feet. So the smaller male went with plan b instead, rolling onto his own back and snapping with joyful whines after the clawing paw, trying to catch it while his own legs ironically stretched to and pushed against the thick furred body of the other wolf.

The lighter male repeatedly hopped around the darker male's body, trying to playfully nip his tail or legs. He kept doing this until the other wolf stopped, and fell to his side. Arkady was still playfully pawing at him when he snapped, and whined. Amusement shone through his eyes, as his tail was still wagging and he whined too, pretending to have an injured paw as he put it down limply.
His ears stood straight up and circled around the fallen male, growling playfully and nipping his limbs and sometimes tail. The dark pelted male had his paws pushed against his own body, and he wagged his tail and slumped it over his legs. Arkady whined, and let his ears drop.
