Pounding hooves signaled her arrival. She galloped up Red Hill, panting slightly, and stopped herself from running into a nearby birch tree. She let go of her burden, a basket, made from a leaf, full of the blueberries she had picked from the Blue Bowl nearby.
"Merry Christmas Virgil... For being there, keeping me company, when I thought I could never be more lonely. Thank you."
The chill wind blew as she cantered away.
"Wow" the hart stood almost amazed at the object the smaller doe had been carrying, how could such have been crafted by cervine hooves? "Did you make that?" He asked, a subtle smile meeting his face; he pretended to know what christmas was. "Merry Christmas Celeste. And you are welcome, you always are."
"This is amazing.." He stated, eyeing the little 'basket' closely. There's no way he'd be able to make something like this. "Hey, would you like to hang about? Perhaps these berries might taste better shared with a friend!"

He felt that Aleit getting himself adopted by Joro without telling Vir a thing was disrespectful. A family is a big thing, so Vir takes it quite seriously and likes to be kept up to date even if he doesn't talk to the family all that much. Vir may not have stopped Aleit from getting a new mom, all Aleit had to do was tell him and keep him up to date.
But he didn't, so Vir felt pushed aside, unimportant and pissed off to be frank.
I think he regrets it now though, he still feels responsible for Aleit; a bond isn't that easy to break.
