Marissa has just turned 14 she has white hair,purple eyes,and is very skinney.She was taken to a new world where
her Uncle Max explains what's going on.










"Where am I " says Marissa her voice echoing in the dark abiss.She sits up nervously feeling a hint of illusion.
"You are in my relm child" speaks a voice from an unknown place.
Marissa recognizes the voice is male and oddly familiar.
"Yes my dear you know me I am your uncle" the voice smiles
"Uncle" she mutters in confusion
"Oh Uncle Alex" she said recognizing him "Where am I she questions"
"In a place where magic is reality and where fantasy is truth"he said honestly releasing the spell on her.
The darkness was gone in its place was a land like no other.
There were old victorian housed scattered here and there;on an island not far away she spotted a grand stone
castle.
Her Uncle appeared by her side
"What is that?" she questioned pointing to the old stone building
"That is were you will learn to control your gift" he said with a smile as he looked down at her.
"My gift..." she stuttered tucking a stray piece of white hair behid her ear.
"There are many like you,ones with talent"he phrased pausing at the last word.
"But why must we hide it"she questioned curious.
He sighed heavily sitting on the ground."Humans would not understand,and what they do not understand they fear;
and if they fear something they try to dispose of it"he explained.
"hmmm" she said biting her lower lip "What about my parents" she whispered
Alex looked up at her with sympathy "They are aware because of my abilities,but they choose to ignore it.
They aren't fond of things that are not logical"he laughed.
Marissa sat beside him feeling that there was more to the story.
Both of your parents,prayed that you would be..human. But I must tell you this world is as real and as or even
more dangerous than the one you have currently been living."He paused for a moment catching his breath.
"Why now " she asked crossing her legs her voice seeking the truth to understand
"When a kid turns 14 and has 'magic' they are introduced to this world to start on their knew journy"he gestured to
the land and the school.
"I feel different"she whispered placing her head in her lap.
"You are different" he cooed placing an arm around her in a side hug.
"This is your new life"he said his arm still around her in a comforting mannner
"What is this place"she asked looking up
