Did you click the activation link in the email that would've been sent to you after registering?
Or did you register but had trouble seeing the random pictos to choose from?
This is a known issue that can occur. You were somehow able to register, but didn't get a pictogram. Try registering again with a different browser, like Opera or Firefox (be sure to download the plugins from this page if you get Firefox, though).
