Ok, since you're on Vista, first you wanna make sure you right-click on the Forest icon and hit "play as administrator", otherwise saving pelts won't work.

Once you do that:
Get the set you want in-game. Now, without logging out, quit the game the normal way. Afterwords, go to the userdata folder (normally located here: C:\Program Files\Tale of Tales\The Endless Forest 3\userdata ), copy the SpellData.cgr file, and save it somewhere else without renaming it. You can remember what it is by putting it in a folder with the name of the data (by set or deer name).

To use it:
Start up the game. Log in as the deer you wish to play. Close the game without logging out. Go to the userdata folder, find where you saved the SpellData file, and paste it in the userdata folder, overwriting the current one. Start up the game. If all goes well, your deer should be wearing their set.

D| Ah darnit... I think my spelldata is lost... er.

When putting the file back into the userdata... am I supposed to click 'copy and replace' or the second option? (part of me fears the saved set I got threw playing via administrator was lost by being replaced by clicking the above...)

Since I can't seem to get Zerg's set back after playing the new fawn and following the steps above... Even repeating a few times... eh, I'm slightly worried. |'D

When I try to move the second copy of my spelldata into the userdata folder, I get a popup that points out there already being a file with the same name and gives some options about what to do about it... *shrug* Vista's a pain... <_<

but yeah... it looks like I kept the orca pelt on the administrator side of the game, but ultimatly lost my pelt on the regular game. o.O So, I guess now I'm trying to recover my lost pelt from the regular version. (I just need my dotd pelt back after having some help already)

but yeah, the 'two copies' thing does kind of make sence...
