It's probably kinda late to change my deer's name (especially now that he's become a stag), but I've been thinking... My stag's name is Corvi, but I'm thinking about it to Steve. Why the name change? Because The name 'Corvi' just does not really fit the personality I've created for him.
Steve may be a stag, but he is certainly not the regal, solemn forest spirit that may come to mind when one hears the word 'stag'. If anything, he's much more of a fawn at heart. A polite fawn (he always bows when greeting other deer), but a fawn nonetheless. He may ask you permission before casting an appearance spell on you, but he won't wait for a 'yes' or 'no'. He'll just zap you with an antler spell, bow goodbye, and take off running, giggling all the way. 'Corvi' is (in my opinion) much too pretty and regal of a name for such a funny creature. Therefore, he shall henceforth be referred to as 'Steve'.
So anyways, tell me what you guys think!
After some more thinking, I've decided against it. I rather like the name 'Corvi', and I think it has a slightly mischievous, spunky ring to it. And it's really hard to call my deer 'Steve' after calling him 'Corvi' for such a long time. So anyways, strike everything I said above, except for the brief mini-bio. That still applies.
