I heard about the forest a couple days after they closed registration to make the 3rd gen. I checked back near every day, waiting for my chance, almost forgot about it for a few days, and then was pleasantly surprised on my next visit... So much so that I sat and clicked random in multiple windows for well on two hours trying to find that perfect symbol that meant 'Me.' Luck of luck, I found more than I could have expected and had to winnow down my choices, after much deliberation I settled on two... the second day I got itchy fingers and had to go back on a random generator binge and grabbed two more. There will be character descriptions for them as soon as they split into more independent personalities.
I romped through the woods for hours meeting all kinds of friendly deer and engaging most of them in playful dance. One deer I especially remember and had fun with that first time then saw again the next day was an adult I can only think of as 'Triangles' with a glyph of two right triangles a smaller one resting on it's hypotenuse on one of the equilateral sides of the other, the upper having what looked like a small j inside if I squinted. I was unfortunately too enthralled to take any pictures. They had a habit of majestically parading around real slow and so it was easy to tag along and make a nuisance of myself, and we encountered many other deer on the way. I was amazed at the amount of fawns I knew to be third gen, thanks to my close association with the generator, and in such lovely arrangements too. I can't help but wonder how long it took them to settle on the ones they picked.
While I love all the possibilities in wordless interaction available in the forest, all the fun made me want to share and see if I could connect with those who brought me joy in our time of play.
