Mis: Thank you! I have some ideas for the mask, I think it's a rather important thing for her... mostly ideas floating around for now though, nothing concrete. I think I may change the bird though, I draw way too much corvids already... thinking of a long-tailed widowbird instead.

I wonder if it's interesting to, connect the thoughts you have about the mask/story to the type of bird. Like, some birds tend to have a certain symbolism. Wouldn't know for sure though.
I googled the widowbird, it looks rather pretty! I bet her beard would get long with that tail XD
Yeah... corvids have loads of mythology surrounding them. Not sure if I want all that in the mask. xD
I like the name "widowbird" because my idea right now is that the bird is her past loved one, who got magically transformed into a bird as a punishment or something, and then died, and Sy' then didn't want to part with her beloved, so she went and made her into a mask.
