Cut warnings;
Blood
Nameless fawn death
Jaws raised, crimson staining grey fur.
This forest, so easy to find food here, good food, no need to hunt, just find them asleep.
Cracking, snapping, she knew there were some fawns cowering nearby in the bushes, no need to be scared, no need, she did not chase, not anymore, not for food.
Their gazes of horror were set upon their fallen companion.
Fawns always were so much more...tender.
A hunk of flesh slid down her throat, bandana straining slightly as he throat widened under it for a moment with the girth of the consumed flesh.
Her tongue swiped over her muzzle, brown wings folded easily at her side.
A bone cracked as she yanked it away.
The fawns bleated from their places.
Acidic green eyes met theirs, and she barked, sending them skittering away.
Hooves flashed by her head.
She laughed softly, watching the doe rear again, slinking to the side.
Her wings unfurled with a sound akin to the beating of a drum, taking the air beneath them as she flew off, leaving not but bones and a sobbing doe behind her.
"You're a monster!
She smirked as she lazed on a high pine branch, cleaning her bloodied teeth...
"I know."
And damn did she love it.
