Malikai has a very neutral temperament. However, his mood can easily go from happy and content to irritated and aggressive, depending on how you interact with him. If you are his friend he will often groom you, protect and nuzzle you. If he feels threatened he will face you head-on and circle you. If you are a threat to him or his friends, he will fight you, viciously. Despite, his sometimes impulsive behavior, Malikai is a benevolent soul that only wants the best for others. Malikai is very protective, which is why he is known as "The Guardian." But, he also has a silly side and enjoys joking around. However, he will stop what he is doing just to defend those that can't defend themselves. During the rut, Malikai will become extra aggressive and will flirt with does on occasion.

As a young fawn, Malikai was taken under the wing of 21 and The Great Prince (Once played by kaitlyn). Despite neither of them being his biological parents, he has always viewed them as mother and father figures that have taught him how to be a deer and a guardian. Over the years, Malikai has lost and gained friends, as well as enemies. He will often sleep in his old haunts like the poppy field and the flower patch near the Old Oak.

Appearance

Head & Face - Malikai has a slightly broad head with a thin snout. His eyes are light blue with an oval-shaped pupil. His sight is limited but his nose and ears are very sensitive. He has spots above his brows and a tan segment that runs from his nose to his jawline.
Antlers - Malikai's antlers are an interesting combination of red deer and whitetail traits. He has a total of eight sharp tines that slightly curve into the center when fully grown. However, the rack itself is much shorter than a red deer's rack. Malikai's antlers also go through a yearly cycle of shedding and growing. Body - Malikai has a lithe, but muscular build. He has long legs and can jump unusually high. He has three stripes around the top of his neck and a single stripe from his jawline to his rump. His belly and upper half legs are white. The lower half of his legs are dark brown and his tail is large, white and fluffy.
