Makeshift Family [Skiever and Ferniq]

Skiever was the first deer which Ferniq happened to (literary) bump into on his first day in the forest. At first the little fawn was afraid of the other, considering how much bigger he was compared to him, but as time went on he became attached to him, eventually treating him like an elder brother. Soon, they both developed a tight, family bond with one another and are now almost practically inseparable.
