Looking For... (Artists Read~)

After having a massive mental breakdown today in the process of doing things I need something to cheer me up a bit. And awhile ago I was talking with a couple friends and it came to the fact that... I don't have a proper COLORED visual reference of Nightmare. Yeah, I have sketches... but I don't have anything COLORED to provide people in the event that they wish to draw Lineart of him XD

So I figured I would throw this out for all the artists out there who want an... extreme challenge of sorts. Because of my current busy schedule (And the possibility of SOON getting into an Online Class for Game Art & Designs) I wouldn't be able to get anything done of this sort. So would anyone be willing to give Nightmare a Try for a colored Reference of him?

If anyone does this I will love you guys forever, that and you might end up getting showered with artwork whenever I get the opening to do so (I Have like... 4 Commissions to get done, and 5 Ref Sheets for a Group to get done as well xD So busy busy!) but yes, if anything we could say an Art Trade would be good. Though for my part I don't think I would be able to pull off anything colored >A<

But you know the state of my art...istic...ness... at the moment eheh. I hope someone else will volunteer for you and get you something done quicker. It's definitely a project I want to tackle in the future though...

I would love to do this

I would love to do this but...I suck at deer and I'm still in the state of practicing. Plus, my Corel Essentials 4 isn't great at coloring :/ I like Photoshop better but unfortunately I don't have that.
But I will put in a little track here in case I want to try something for him. And here's a bump too.

No worries on that both of

No worries on that both of you, but to let you know Bayleen. Nightmare's not a deer, not even remotely RELATED to a deer at least not anymore XD His page pretty much has more of my recent artwork of him but to describe Nightmare. He's like a Lion mixed with a Boxer in the body, the thick and heavy fur of something, the tail of a wolf (Just longer) and the Skull of a Shrieker on Steroids xD

XD So yeah if that's a deer I'm afraid to live in that world LOL! You can see more of his artwork on his bio *nods* Plenty there old and new alike :3

I've always thought Nightmare's design was very unique, and it would be interesting to work with colour-wise. I have a few projects ongoing, but if you don't mind me using this as sort of a breaker between those, I'd love to give it a shot!

I noticed in Nightmare's bio

I noticed in Nightmare's bio that you had two fairly different descriptions for his body type. I wasn't sure which to go with overall, so I did a sketch of my interpretation of both versions to see which you preferred.

"Extremely muscled body that is a combination of a lions build and pitbulls stocky build. He's extremely bulky and very powerful in the muscle mass."

"Has a very lean, but very muscled body structure, built like a heavy mix between Moose and Irish Elk."

Just let me know which one you'd rather I worked with and I can get started on more details.

Also, I wasn't quite sure what to go with for feet. From your drawings it looks like he has paws/claws, so I went with that for now, but if you'd rather that change, again, just let me know!

Haha oh god I think I might

Haha oh god I think I might have missed the Irish Elk/Moose part if that is on his bio *hides away* HAHA! XD Anyway the first one you have is SPOT ON! The first one I love but I adore both >3< even if they are just quick rough sketches you got such gorgeous anatomy!

Also, paws are what he has evolved into

He used to have hooves but now he's got paws, fits more with the Pitbull/Lion esque feel to his body *nods*
