Oh this bittersweet place, with rolling hills and cool'ed glades that entice and invite, it beckons me.

My wishes to return to paradise are slowly but surely fading, replaced by the sweet honeys of this gently waving grass and swaying trees with their creaking song.

I hesitate, but the word home becomes the forefront word in my mind to describe this bittersweet place. The accompaniment of birdsong begins to wear away at memories of paradise, replacing them with memories of this bittersweet place.

Some days I find myself swaying with the movement of the trees, racing a falling leaf to the grounds on which I sleep, frolicking with the rabbits and chattering with squirrels...

This bittersweet place...

It beckons me from the edge of a death I have just awoken from. It allows me to rise from the ashes of my former life and become a youth once again among the ancient trees. It allows the gratefulness to flood me and the tears of my eyes to become steeped in happiness as they flood my face and pour from my steaming soul.

My heart beats for this bittersweet place.

This was always my haven, a place I longed to be, in this bittersweet place.

Look forward to the feelings of warm bodies as we all huddle to keep warm on a long fall evening, the dripping of another's candles sticking warmly to your fur as you curl tightly...

Breathe in the green wind and savor its crisp essence, approaching fall bringing the bare hint of roasting leaves and the slightest brittle flavor of the imminent snow

in this bittersweet place.
