I came across this image one day and it's obvious where I found the connection ;D
please note this picture is NOT mine, it was created by the artist Frida Kahlo (as said in the title) and that is her face in the picture
I though it would be an interesting thing to share with the community <3

I'm going to her exhibition

I'm going to her exhibition in Berlin next week. I'm a huge fan of her, I'm currently reading her biography, I'm having many other books about her and seen every movie, feature or documentary, I could get into my hands. -squees-
I've actually a deer character based on her, but too many ideas for her that I didn't find the time to write that down in an interesting and sense-making way yet :c

Actually, Tale of Tales wrote in their TEF faq that Frida Kahlo was one of those who inspired the Endless Forest deer!

ok,this is just my opinion:

ok,this is just my opinion: this picture may be a little touchy with some of the more...well, quimish players because of the fact that this picture has to do with blood and voilence of deeer.....? personaly its offending to me...

I've always enjoyed Kahlo's work, always very interesting compositions and obviously a very talented painter.
