Spoken Name: Light on the Leaves
Nickname: Candles
Gender: Has none, but its soft, tender nature tends to translate a feminine quality, so to avoid confusion I will refer to this deer as she.
Voice: Does not speak a specific language. Prefers physical actions and, if the receiver is open, the quicker communication of ideas and feelings processed directly through the mind.
Age: Now and Always ?
Appearance: She can't possibly think of limiting herself in such a manner, but as it gets closer to the autumn season for me, I notice she likes to sport an acorn cap and a collar of autumn leaves.
Story: Before she became Deer, she spread herself out into the growing grasses and flowing waters. The sun rays and the rain drops. Willow vines and warm stones built to honor the departed body for the spirits who remain.
Sometimes she would “drop in” as little birds, to feel the rush of the air and experience the life of a song. She especially enjoyed the experience of a rabbit for its whimsical, gentle nature and connection to the inner earth.
Now she has come in as Deer on a somewhat more permanent basis, though she is known to become other creatures or plants.

Biological Family: None and all
- She knows intuitively that all life is connected on one level or another. She was not born in the biological sense that one or more life-forms can lay claim to her being, and she holds no possessive sway over any other creature. She created herself independently and of her own intention.
- She enjoys all life in an intimate and loving way, but not romantically.

Friends:

-Friendly. Not aggressive, not mean by nature, but enjoys the rush of movement, the force and the yielding, the stomp and the touch, the loud and the soft, the solitary and solidarity. Always intending to enjoy life.
-Non-invasive. She does her best to make sure the emotions of others
do not affect her own being, though she may help if asked.
-Compassionate. She deeply loves the Forest and has a healthy respect for all life forms.
-Even tempered. Can she ever get angry? I don't believe so.
