You can be a doe with antlers, lots of people do that. I use the gazelle-like antlers for my doe Kitiri.

Your set normally saves in the game, but I've had that glitch happen to me before too. What you can do is, once you have a set that you like, go into the program file for the game on your computer, open the userdata folder, and save a copy of the file titled spell data to a different place on your computer(be sure not to change the name). Then if you lose your set, exit the game, copy the spell data back into the userdata file, and then start the game again and you should have your set back.
