Another piece of older art.

The Kiirin in Japanese mythology appears in places of wisdom, or in the presence of wise men/women. I think it is fitting that there is a few scaly pelts running around out in the forest. Though its the Crying Idol red pelt that reminds me of my personal vision of the fantastic creatura.

This one is also on t-shirts at gallery M.I.A in Asheville.

Nope, It probably does mean something though. I wish I knew. It was an antique Jade stamp block I had acquired. Someday I am sure someone will tell me, I just hope it wasn't counter-interest to use it. :|

I really like the way the

I really like the way the flowing fur is done here, with kinda tribal-ish look. The use of colors also is fantastic and in overall, I like the amount of details. Good work on this one. (:

This is so unique! The

This is so unique! The movement is picturesque, colors are deep and hot and do seem to portray wisdom in my eyes, and just make me think of how scary-brilliant it would be to meet such a creature in the forest. This one, though, I would be wary of it breathing fire! *giggle*
