She means you should either take that avatar down or get Chickenwhite's permission to use it.
And requesting art for a character without a design is a real put-off for pretty much every artist.

Just because a picture comes up on Google doesn't mean you have permission to use it.

Next time you can;
- use stock pictures
- stock photographs
- draw a picture yourself
- commission or request art from someone on the TEF community site
- contact the original artist and ask their permission to use the artwork

I assume you mean the green fellow in my signature? That was drawn by the user Moss (they go by several names on the site) a long time ago.

Not sure, I believe Moss is their main username (others I know of are Nine and 3) but you could always ask Moss which they would prefer you use.

You would have to get in contact with Moss, find one of the blogs they have made on The Community site (you can use the Search Bar for this). Your best bet would be to try and locate the one where they were accepting requests for these siggie deer. I'm not sure if Moss is still making these siggies or not, as I said it was a long time ago and they aren't as active on The Community as they once were. Still, it's worth a try I suppose.

As for posting a picture, you are going to have to get the 'img' stuff, because that's how you do it.
A friend of mine is thinking about making a visual tutorial for how to post a picture, so if you don't mind waiting, Trigger_Mortis will likely post it soon. That should be easier to understand that just going on words alone. Keep your eyes on the Recent Posts for their tutorial.

besides, I don't want to post a picture, I want to have a side picture when I post comments. I don't just want a sig. picture. I want a picture under the writing too. U see what I'm sayin'.

Alright, but you still need to know how to place an image if you want an image as your signature. Here's step by step how to set something as your signature;

1) Look to the left hand side of your screen on the menu.
2) Find 'My Account' and click it.
3) Now you are on your profile. Click the 'Edit' button under your user name.
4) Scroll down the page until you find the section labeled 'Signature Settings'
5) In the box under `Signature:`type in whatever text you want as your signature.

If you want to put a picture as your signature, you put the following code in the `Signature:`box instead:

[img]url code for the picture you want[/img]

If you want the picture to be to the right hand side of your signature, use this;
[ right ] [img] url code for the picture you want [/img] [/right ] (without the spaces)

If you don't understand how to use the [img] tags, wait until Trigger Mortis posts the visual tutorial. That will be easier to understand.

YO* terebetha, UH don't mean to be this way but this isn't exactly working out the way I'd hoped. it isn't giving me the image, its just giving me the url of the image, not the actual pic. Please tell me some more stuff. I did exactly as you said

That link only leads me to google. That means it is not the link to the image itself.
Trigger Mortis is working on the tutorial as I speak, it should be up sometime soon. It will hopefully explain better than I can.
