... Welcome to the journal of a deer, my name is Exodus.
The mist has finally cleared, a miracle really. It was surely something to enjoy for a moment, but the moarning calls of fawns in despare and wolves howling from beyond our forest began to make me feel uneasy.
I've only just come out of hiding in the forest, i can't even remember what i'd been doing before... It's obviously nothing important if i cannot recall; i guess i've been so out of it recently. Tire is taking over me, laziness. I have to get back to my athletic self; perhaps go on a few strolls across the forest aimlessly. Hah, Lately i've been hanging out with a strange Doe; i call her Jjee. She's been considerably kind to me, despite my constant silence around strangers. Not to mention a mysterious injured stag, Virgil. I hope to help him heal, though there is nothing more i can do but give him a new friend to lie beside him and confort him through the lonely hours of the day. Oh, how harsh the sun is in these summer seasons. The dandilions are enjoying the weather, though. It raises my spirits to see the tiny 'weeds' sprout once more as they do every season.
---
Mm what a relaxable day, walking solemnly through the wood. My cloudy, white, and worn hooves caressing the earth below me slowly. Wearily. Watching the fish in the pond swim; i could swear i saw grins upon their tiny grey faces. Maybe someday i'll be able to lay among them in my dreams, swimming in an endless ocean along side them without loosing my silver fur color and returning to the appearance of a regular forest deer. A miracle that would be..
---
Virgil and I met at the 'Playground' ( or so i hear everyone calling it as such. ) There, we met with a shady fellow. A smooth gray pelt, his muscle and bone showing as if he'd been on the border of this world and the next. Though he seemed perfectly healthy, i question if it was just a ghost. Although, Virgil saw him. He sported with him a skull head; made of pure pale bone of another animal. Ominous, indeed, though he seemed very friendly. Perhaps i shall see more of this stranger; maybe even make a new friend.
After the calm walk through the birch forest; we rested silently in the old graveyard. Keeping us company were the friendly statues. Their smiles seemed contagious, for soon i found myself napping sweetly under the tree behind where Virgil and another deer were resting. Though not for long, a fawns enthusiastic and bouncy dance awoke me and soon i found myself dancing with them. It seemed to bring a smile to our injured friends scarred muzzle. We were even blessed with the company of other friends, i can't remember their names.. This i feel is my fault. I'd been too caught up in the entoxicating aroma of the flowers, and the carefree feel of the moment.
Unfortunetly my day did not last as long as i would hope, i had to depart after our little dance. For this i grant unto those who cared to spend a lonely hour with me a simple-sweet sorry. I wish to dance once more under the laughing faces of those statues with you, my friends.
I shall try with all that i have in me to etch your names into my memory so perhaps we may stand by eachother's sides to atleast watch the wind blow once more.
For now i must say farewell,
Exodus.

The Shady fellow was
Vir would also like to thank Exodus for the company over this time. <3
The other deer near Vir might have been Mozart.
The stag with the antolope horns who appeared closest to Vir was Rai.
The stag with the same pelt and mask and flora in his antlers was Luis.
... I can't be bothered to list them all. xDDD
Pfft, you're not a bad writer! How dare you call yourself a bad writer, take it back! D< xD
