Why hello there, old fellah! Wow, tonight must be my lucky night; I have never seen a first generation deer for myself until now! ;-;
OH MY GOD :'D

Eep, could that be from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory?! :'DDD
Broken antlers? O: I didn't
How do you tell what generation a deer is by the picto? o.o
I thought your picto was the one in the middle! Wait, er.... WHA? xD *confused fail*
LOL
@ SilverBells ~ Never fear,
Only people who made pictos before the major update and are playing on the older version of the game can appear as the original default deer in-game. The one lying down is nameless, I think, because that picto belongs to one of my characters. The one standing is definitely a named player. The one on the very left with the mask is my Ishibaba, but he is a new generation deer; he just happens to have the "long" pelt, which is part of a set and not a default. c:
So, in short, you can pick out a first generator deer by their picto if you recognize its form (first generation pictos look much different from the new set of pictos; new sets are made for about every 50,000 new players). It is much easier to tell, however, if the deer happens to be naked, or in its default set in which you can see its pelt, face and broken antlers. I hope this all makes sense! c:
Actually, let me clear up the
I think the server glitched when you took that screenshot. Those two "old" deer seem to have second generation pictograms, which are unplayable in any version before 3.31. Normally, if someone plays version 1 of the game, they'll show up as that old deer to everyone but themselves. To themselves, they'd just look like the regular brown "default" deer. I'd say they were people playing that version, but with those pictos, I don't think they are. Unless they're nameless deer appearing with pictos (it's a glitch that can happen).
It's funny when that happens, though. Were there any floating mask deer around too?
Aw, man... I was hoping that
I sometimes have trouble

Also, how do I make a bio for my deer? When I was doing trades people linked me these pages that described their deer. lol I want one!
And THANK YOU for explaining. xD
Haha, I know it can be
As for bios, they are pretty simple to make as long as you know basic CSS coding. Unplugged wrote an excellent blog addressing basic CSS, and is certainly worth a read if you're new to it. She has also written other articles about other types of coding that you can use in your bios, and you can also look up basic tutorials online. However, your bios don't have to be intricate; it can just be as simple as text with a couple of pictures thrown in. I hope this helps! ^_^
Where would I go to get other
And where do I go to make a bio, in my blog or something?
Thank you for the answers. X____X
To register a new picto, you
As for the bio, look at the left sidebar on the site. There will be a section that says SilverBells. Beneath it should be a link that says Create new > Blog entry. Click that, and from there you can make your bio! c:
AHAHAHAAA! Aren't you a
And sometime I shall make bios for mah deers. ^3^
And I have a character, Silver Bells' mate, who is a white deer. Sooo... If I downloaded the 3.1 version to be able to get the white pelt kinda like the red one, could I still log in there with Brehach and Blue bird even though they're 3.4? And would I have two separate versions of the game on my computer then? Like two separate desktop icons? Or would both of them be under one?
Thanks Liam!
Lol, why thank you! XD
Hm... I am no expert, but I am very sure that if you get a permanent devout or red pelt in 3.31 you cannot switch it over to 3.4 since those glitches were fixed in the new version. I could be wrong, though. I think it's possible to have the two different versions on your computer at once, but I don't know if you can run them at the same time. I can run two instances of TEF myself, so in that case I guess it's possible. c:
You are most welcome, hun! ♥
