An intriguing game...

I believe this game is the closest to what I've been looking for: An online chat room in which you still evolve, change and participate in events with other players without having to perform quests in which you kill things to collect their body parts or the armor of some long lost knight. However, the intriguing part is the reason for the creation of this game and why you can't actually talk to others without pantomiming actions such as dancing, bowing or mooing.

I't very true that no matter the online game you play the feeling of total immersion is always spoiled by one's habit of speaking in internet lingo and other slang. This being completely removed in The Endless Forest is an incredible step into the unknown.

It may not be the most fun of games with it only having emotes and such to perform in-game, but it still has a creative aspect of which I have never encountered in a game. Whether the true reasons for the deer faces to be humanoid-like in appearance is from Princess Mononoke or not it certainly makes me feel like we're all the great big Guardians of the Forest.

More to come later from other play. Really wish I didn't have to wait a month to shed this Fawn skin...oh well!

The Hummaniod face actually

The Hummaniod face actually came from
a painting by an artist. The painting included
a portrait of the artist as a deer. His face was on a deers
body and a sign floatted above his head.

I'm not sure if it was an exact portait
of himself but I know they got it from a painting.

The red mask wich you might see on my deer
is from Princess Monoko, but only becuase the artist
designer for this game was a fan of the Man who created
that movies art?

WOW! I never actually thought of it like that!
We are Kings!

I'm glad you love the

I'm glad you love the forest. I used to be looking for the same as you...

...I've found it, but...my connection is the slightest, tiniest bit too slow for me to play properly.

x.x...if you see a deer with my pictogram in the forest, that's Anzel. If she ignores you, it's because I can't see you...accursed connection x.x. Don't think of me as rude...

I found this game while

I found this game while looking
through pictures on D.A. and I saw
this deer with a mask. Looked up the
game saw an awsome pic that made me want to join
the game.

I think the person who drew that pic posted it
up here but it's way in the back of the picture forums...X.X

I actually don't like the humanoid faces, but that's because they should be pure animals, without human influences..
That's my opinion Sticking out tongue

But it's a magical game indeed, I really like it!

Welcome to the Forest and

Welcome to the Forest and glad to hear you're enjoying your stay.

I personally find the Endless Forest to be very fun; I've found myself spending quite a bit of time in the Forest itself as well as on the Community Site. Part of the fun comes from trying to figure out how to express your feelings and ideas to other deer, figuring out what other deer are trying to say to you, and then coming on the Community Site and actually finding out a bit about each deer/person.
