Something for Saosin... a bit scribbly, but I kind of like how it looks like anyway. Got inspired by how his antlers are constantly growing, so that made me instantly think about branches... Though taking note of my obsession it´s hardly a surprise, heh.
Gah, can´t think of anything smart to write, sorry. <_<

The way you did the antlers and the hair is amazinggg.

Sigh... This still f'n blows

Sigh... This still f'n blows my mind, hahah. What strikes me the most is his skull, it seems slightly different from your usual style, very appealing still. I like the sketchy way it's been shaded, the yellow and turquoise lights, the shape and the sharp edges of the muzzle. The subtle cracks in it. Then the antlers sprouting from it, the twisting tines surrounding the magpie. I like to think there's some symbolism there, regarding spyrre. That vibrant red is lovely, as well, so fiery even with the other reflected colors in it. Like magma. Really like the way you handled the flow of his fur, his body shape, you make him look truly magnificent. As for the general feel of this, while my stag himself seems pretty melancholic, he's facing a light. Perhaps the magpie is helping him get there? Even the out of focus background seems suiting, as he often blocks his surroundings out, only focusing on what already matters. I guess I might be over analyzing it here, but whatever, liking the thought of it! Thanks, so much, only hope I can repay you for everything someday. <333

Jin, Agh, thanks... I´m probably repeating myself, but so happy that you like it. The style turned out a bit different I guess.... liking your interpretation of this, actually a lot like I envisioned it too. Was thinking of adding a poppy for the magpie too, but ended up not to after all, good that the idea was visible anyway. <3 At least tried to go for a hopeful feeling... maybe he does get closer to the light, anyway the magpie will be accompanying him. =)
