sUPER late update buT
-Got to speak to Ichor for the first time! Well sorta because her vocabulary consists of five words so
-Asked him what his name was, was told he didn't have one and that she could make one up. Decided on "Light" due to the color of his fur exCEPT it came out like "Lieeeet" rip
-Also told him her name so they're on a first name basis now. bESt fREns
-Highkey spooked af by his talking cat skull but it didn't kill her or anything so that's a plus
-Asked him how the skull like...did the thing...but was told it was a secret? Decided not to push it because what if it comes alive again and eATS her
-Mostly sitting with Liathe, Ichor, Fletcher, and Jude
-Also got Talla to join later on. Look guys I did a thing
-Had to told herself back from chasing after a bunny tho...it was f a st
-Later on Rasui and Crescent showed up (and also Rhea!); Crescent had a blind bun bun with him too. Sniffed the bun bun and then went back to laughing at Rasui's enragement.exe

Said her name for the first time. Aided in this by Naoki, who had originally suggested "Laney", but changed it to Steini in order to make it easier for the raptor to pronounce. Awfully proud of her accomplishment, to the extent of which she ran around the forest to shout it at Fletcher, and then at Jude when he showed up. Followed Jude over to an orange antelope (Sethunya) who the pale fawn had apparently befriended. Noticed that Sethunya seemed spooked by her, and kept a short distance, though it was impossible to stymie her curiosity for long. Glad when the antelope seemed to accept her presence.
Later encountered a larger creature with purple feathers (Salem) near the ruins with Jude. Thought he seemed alright at first--he'd even given Jude a feather--but soon put off by what she perceived to be his odd behavior. Her momentary relief at Crescent's arrival was offset by the fact that Salem was getting way too close for comfort, in her eyes. Irate by the fact that Jude seemed to be oblivious to the "danger" and did that she does best: throw a mini-tantrum. BUT calmed down enough to settle with Jude, Crescent, and another (Ozzy??) in the vicinity of the ruins. Didn't like the fact that Salem seemed intent on staying with them, but assumed that nothing would happen in Crescent's presence.
Actually managed to doze off. Awoke to fighting in the distance. Initially approached carefully, catching only glimpses of a large group (Fletcher, Rhea, wAY more) chasing someone down (Kyrian). Her mild interest in the skirmish increased tenfold when she realized that Jude was in the area. Fortunately, he was close by and seemed alright. Practically latched onto him while she surveyed the area for familiars, and quickly beckoned him onward when she caught the scents of the "pack."
Arrived at the Blue Bowl to find Fletcher, Liathe, and Rhea surrounding Ichor, who had apparently been the target of the "predator's" attacks. Confused by the odd singe marks on the Lead Glass's skin, the likes which she'd never seen before. Further incensed by Fletcher's news that the predator had gone on for the attack when Jude had attempted to greet Ichor. Felt both rage and guilt at the fact that she had not been there; thought that she could have perhaps led both fawns away before the attack began. Did, however, manage to calm down enough to sniff Ichor and then Daire when the Scarabaeus stopped by.
Checked up on Liathe next; couldn't help but feel concern for the dragonness, despite the fact that she doubted anything would actually attack her. Was reassured by Liathe, who expressed pride at her concern for the friends. Felt momentarily prideful in turn, though that was offset by continued guilt. Forced herself to shake it off, and thanked (or at least tried to) Liathe. Interested by Rhea's offer to hunt down food for everyone. Hopped up and asked to accompany her, but was gently told that she could do on a calmer day when was a bit older. SiGhed but acquiesced, figuring that there were more important things to do. Remained with Jude and a new, but familiar-looking arrival (Phobos). Basically glared daggers at Jude when it seemed as if her friend wanted to wander off; unwilling to let him out of her sight at least until they were sure things had settled down. Did, however, feel comfortable enough to sit due to Fletcher's presence. Except then Bzou showed up rip

I'm so lazy here goes
-Lowkey stalked a black doe (Stelmaria). Noticed that she seemed to be scared of her? Kept enough of a distance so that it seemed in her mind that she wasn't actually watching her. because Steini is just the queen of subtlety
-Later joined a group consisting of Liathe, Jude, Ichor, and Fletcher (later to be joined by Rhea and Rossamund). Relieved to see Jude apparently keeping in safe company. Attempted to speak with Liathe's help. Managed to say something that sounded like Liathe's name; mostly stuck to throaty, vowel-esque sounds.
-Also greeted Rossamund at some point. Your fur is nice can I have some
-Joined Jude in the playground with the Bzou and Keidasi. Had seen the Bzou before, and assumed that they posed no threat to Jude. But then they and Keidasi started lighting joints and she choked on the smell gg no re
-Decided to take Jude and avoid this qUEStionABle bEHAvior and wound up snuggling with Liathe and Ehsan
-and then the entire forest burned down the end

tl;dr: are you ready to live dangerously
Spent the early parts of the day lounging around Jude and a number of what she assumed to be his friends. Somewhat mixed feelings about the appearance of Vrasa; happy to see the fellow hatchling, but a bit wary due to her apparent association with Greitai. Relaxed when the raptor doe didn't show, and sat with Jude and the others.
Ran off into the birches after catching Lifa's scent. Hesitated a bit upon seeing her with a stag that she assumed was a family member of hers (Morgul). A bit wary around the larger male, but relaxed a bit when he seemed to accept her presence. Played with Lifa, taking some time to investigate Tiamat and her mother (Jhorla). Didn't get too close for fear of interrupting them, however.
Ran off after saying goodbye to Lifa and her family. Intended to make her way back to Jude, but was distracted by two deer nearby (Maggot and Averell). Recognized Maggot from a confrontation with Rhea, and decided to keep a safe distance. At that moment, however, Jude ran over, apparently eager to greet Maggot. Panicked and raced after him, trying to stay close just in case. Thought briefly about going over to sniff Averell, but decided that acting as a buffer between her friend and Maggot was more important.
Finally managed to get Jude a decent distance away from the two. Scolded him for having acted so recklessly around a creature that may or may not have been a danger. Felt bad for having to upset him, however, and nuzzled him reassuringly, hoping that her point had been made clear.
Unable to relax entirely, however, for Maggot was still within seeing distance. Began to panic again when he walked closer, and ushered Jude away. Managed to get him near the Oak with Maggot trailing behind them. Was contemplating just hiding in there until she spotted Liathe and Fletcher nearby. Felt immense relief when the two dragons came over, although she unable to relax until Maggot finally wandered off. Joined in a bout of play with the three, at first halfheartedly, but then wholly, due to the fact that Maggot seemed to have indeed gone away. Huddled up with them in a group that included Ichor, with Ehsan and Daire (soon to be joined by Rossamund) nearby. Feeling more secure now that she was with familiars; did, however, take the time to reaffirm her earlier point about not acting recklessly to Jude. although honestly she's like the second to last you should take advice from on that

Uuh let's see if I can remember
-Met another hatchling named Nathaniel yes hello join the pack
-Most of the consisted of running around with Jude. Met a tiny fawn (Tiamat) and her father (Z'ev); ran around with Jude and former before departing
-Lots of hanging with Crescent and staring at Dahval's fur because so silky
-Also almost jumped a crow except it was a deer (Artemis); got spooked af but Jude was friendly with her so sorta dealt with it
-Sit with Jude and Crescent; spotted Talla and invited her over, although the doe seemed a bit hesitant. Decided not to push it, and went back to the other fawns
-Lowkey spying on Bhaelum who was sitting by the Ruins; not keen on actually going up to him because she doesn't wanna get jumped even if he's got a muzzle
-More playing with Jude until she spotted Greitai and Vrasa (I think?) in the distance
-Panicked and fast-walked in the opposite direction, basically dragging Jude along
-Ran to the birch forest and found Naoki sitting by the den she'd taken shelter in once
-Nuzzled Nao and sorta asked to maybe be able to hide in there? Nao let her though so hopped in with Jude
-Feeling semi-relieved because no one can find them here r i ght
-Still a bit worried about Naoki though; noticed that the copper doe seemed a bit off

Spent most of the day sitting with Naoki and Liathe. Accidentally gave Naoki a panic attack when she ran over to sniff a male nearby (Rahal). Sorry ma
Eagerly greeted Rhea when she came by. Butted her head against the hyena's legs in a request to be taught how to fight. Was told to bite down on Rhea's legs; hesitated at first, but did so, letting her frustration at the events of the past few days do the work. Fortunately, Rhea didn't seem very miffed.
Was shown a few crucial spots to attack if needed, although it was heavily emphasized that it should be used only if she were in absolutely danger and never on children. Liathe also chimed in with the request that it would be best to just flee and come to them if needed. Thought that made along sense (also figured Lia would be livid if she offed another kid tbh), but still discontent over the question of Bhaelum. Honestly had no idea if the glutton should be considered a child; even if were, did that change the fact that he had attacked other fawns multiple times? Was forced to acknowledge the whole thing with Koi, but then again, she'd learned that other fawns were not in fact food. Was Bhaelum capable of the same thing?
Told herself that she was capable of handling Bhaelum, seeing as she'd done so before. Besides, the adults wouldn't be pleased if she did something reckless. Begrudgingly considered the thought of just avoiding Bhaelum; didn't like the idea of having to base her forest interactions around him. Decided to just...wait and see. She had the knowledge she needed, just in case.

tl;dr: the baby wars never end
Found Jude sitting with Mordius and the Bzou. Didn't detect anything too suspicious about them, but noticed Jude's uneasiness and decided to entice him with play. Ran around until they got to the playground, where Bhaelum, "seaglass", and Kanan were sitting. Sniffed Kanan, who was sitting a little farther away, but ran off soon after. Mostly hung around and watched Jude investigate Bhaelum.
However, Bhaelum seemed to notice their presence, and got up. Both amused and slightly on guard upon realizing that he was aNGERY. Carefully taunted the glutton; even though Jude was here, there was no telling with him. Figured that he wouldn't actually though-
except she was wRONG because he actually did. Instantly attempted to create a distance between them in order to avoid being caught by his yaoi hand claws and to ascertain that he was in fact going for her and not Jude. Initially continued to dodge and taunt the glutton but was subtly spooked because the fact that he was masked didn't cover up the fact that he was bigger than her. Went in for a few charges before deciding to try and end the skirmish, particularly because Jude was right there and clearly upset. Didn't like how close Bhaelum's runs at her got to him, and figured that it wasn't worth it. Momentarily panicked upon seeing what she thought was Bhaelum giving chase, but soon realized that that wasn't the case. Got a few more taunts in before retreating with Jude.
Led Jude over to Naoki and a sleeping Jude to recover. Somewhat regretted her decision to rile Bhaelum up, if only because he had been dragged into the middle of it. bragged in raptor to nao about it though
Tried again to express her displeasure to Jude about his continued friendship with the glutton. Although he seemed capable of controlling himself, there was no way of telling when he'd snap. It seemed that she, at least, would be in danger whenever she saw him...wondered if it would be a good idea to learn how to become a better fighter. Lost in thought when Naoki got up to get a drink at the lake. Felt somewhat uneasy without adult supervision (since Ross was still sleeping), so stood up to keep an eye on things. Awaiting Naoki's return.

More running around. Stopped to sniff Koi when she saw him nestled in a pile of rocks, but got no reaction. Still unsure as to whether or not they're truly "friends" now, particularly with the whole situation with Bhaelum. Going to try and be nice anyway though sighs
Spotted Jude sitting with Lifa and fukin gEORGE Bhaelum by the lake. Proceeded to prolong the inevitable by taking a bath in the lake and investigating various creatures nearby before fInaLLY going over and sniffing at them. Wanted to sit next to them, but knew that, once Bhaelum noticed, there would probably be something like a fight. Was reminded of all the animosity between her and Koi, and opted to sit nearby next to "Seaglass", although discontentedly.
Except then Jude came over yeees. Nuzzled him and was like basically like "bro you gotta be careful around this guy he is dangerous except he's got a mask but still" except she can't talk rip. Expressed her general displeasure with the situation through a series of whines, but cuddled up to Jude anyway. Also keeping an eye on Daedalus because why are you always here hhhRRmm
Tagged after Jude when the latter went to go greet a much larger creature (Mordius). A bit hesitant at first because she didn't know him, but figured that Jude did so they were probably safe? Oh you sweet summer child
Fortunately, nothing actually happened. Ran over to say hi to Rhea when the hyena came by, and was given a multi-colored stone. Was like o: and started biting fiddling with it.
A pink fawn (Momo) soon showed up; was happy to see that he was friendly. Koi also appeared at about the same time. Relieved to see that the "truce" they'd come to a few days ago was still intact. Still made shifty eyes when he nuzzled Bhaelum though. Am I gonna have to save all you dums
Another fawn (Kanan) also came by to sit near Bhaelum. Recalled him as one of the fawns who had been upset due to her behavior toward the glutton. Trotted forward and sniffed at him, darting away to see his reaction. It seemed that he was still upset at her. Was like come at me lol and started being a cheeky lil rap rap and taunting him, mostly to see what he'd do. Stopped, however, when Jude started to get upset; for all her curiosity regarding Kanan, she was unwilling to drag her friend into it. Moved back to Jude and Momo, still eyeing Bhaelum's group. Wondered if she should just let Bhaelum attack them the next time he acted up, if they wanted to be so friendly with him. I'm a busy rap rap I can only do so much u feel
Moved over a sleeping Rhea sometime later. Soon joined by Jude and Momo.

Ran around without adult supervision and had a staring contest with Bhaelum and they were about to jump each other but Jude stopped them thanks bro

Found Jude sitting next to Bhaelum in the birch forest. Was immediately like tenthousandalarmbells.exe and ran over, trying to drive a wedge between her friend and the glutton. Was about to try and drive him off before she noticed a few odd things about Bhaelum, mostly noticeably the odd black mask around his muzzle. Almost felt pity the extent to which he was restricted. Still, it if meant that he would be unable to injure others, that was good enough.
Basically had a tug of war with Bhaelum over Jude. Was lowkey like "o damn" when he started trying to push her away because he is, though restrained, twice her size. Resorted to stomping and bluff charging the glutton, making her displeasure unclear. Her efforts eventually paid off, with a seemingly distraught Bhaelum running into the forest.
Turned then to Jude, who seemed to be upset over the whole situation. Immediately nuzzled him, wanting to assure him that it wasn't his fault. Wished he would stay away from Bhaelum though because u never knoooo
Found that her mind was beginning to cloud with doubt over what she had just done. Driving off Bhaelum had been the natural, even logical, thing to do, particularly after his aggressive behavior. Still, if that were true, then...
Suddenly feeling stifled by the closeness of the birch fauna. Ran back to a more open area and went to the stream, where she found Ceinlyss and a stranger (Yema). Greeted Ceinlyss amiably and then sat down. Relieved when Jude joined them--at least he wasn't angry, right? Forced away her doubts, telling herself that she had done the right thing.

Woke up feeling a little better than she had yesterday. Skulked around checking out various creatures until she decided to visit the lake. Drawn to a familiar fawn (Nepenthe) who was sitting by a little black one. Felt somewhat heartened when Nepenthe, as well as the other fawn, received her amiably even if Nep sneezed in her face rIP. Sniffed Rossamund when he showed up, before abruptly being taken by the urge to wander around.
Caught scent of Liathe and ran over. Whatever shred of confidence she'd built up within like the last...hour...instantly came crashing down when she saw Koi with her. Hesitantly went over and nuzzled the dragonness, but circled back, unable to bring herself to sit near her with Koi right there. Caught between wanting to just go back to the lake and wanting to settle things, whatever that meant. Kinda just stood there like the awkward rap rap she is
Eventually, the two noticed her and stood up. Was encouraged by Liathe to come over, but opted to frantically pace around, keeping her eyes on Koi. Took two steps back for every step she took forward; just knew that he was going to either run off or charge. Contemplated just running off herself rather than having to face that, but stayed. Liathe came over and coaxed her closer. Did so, but cautiously. Took steps to place Liathe between her and Koi as she got closer, as well as to avoid approaching Koi head on. Told herself it was just her being cautious. Who knows.
In time, the Hatchling managed to get surprisingly close to Koi, who, despite backing off a few times, actually seemed relatively calm. Suddenly seized by an urge to just walk forward and sniff him, but didn't, anticipating the reaction she'd receive. Finally managed to sniff him with Liathe's encouragement; surprised when he actually sniffed back. Quickly began to feel better; even managed a cheeky taunt.
With that, Liathe led the two to a group consisting of a sleeping Fletcher, Ehsan, Uy (I think?), a few fawns. Eagerly sniffed Fletcher, and decided to sit next to him instead of Liathe because Koi was sitting there and she still felt kinda awkward? Then Jude came and she was like y e s friend and snuggled up to him. Still felt a little bad about his having to see her w e ird behavior yesterday, but at least she was better now. Kinda. In truth, she still had a lot of questions about...whatever had happened to her in the last days. For now, however, opted to just relax with the others.
