I need your input!

So I guess I missed a lot of whatever happened today. =o I still haven't had time to read everything but I've kinda got the gist of it. Anyway, I wanted to clear this up before I head into the forest because I'm not sure what I will find there! What is the consensus on no antlers? Is it safe for me to bring my old bald-headed deer in or do I risk being harassed?

There's no need to worry, Ephra. Though the state of the Forums is still calming down a bit, we have made a calm day called Equality Day that takes place in the forest.
The atmosphere in-game is peaceful and happy; everyone is hanging around with everyone, and wearing whatever they like, naked or with sets.

Ohh, you know I've known how

Ohh, you know I've known how to do that stuff too. ): If you remember the mardi gras deer people wondered about a long time ago, it was me. But I only really used that pelt once after I found it, as a reference for my portrait of Masque haha

xD It'll make me sound like I'm "sucking up to you" to say this, but you're the one person out of the entire community that I feel the antlerless-ness belongs to. It fits. It just does.

I love your deer, and I hope

I love your deer, and I hope you and your deer are never harassed.
But isn't that kind of defeating the purpose of everything that has happened today? To keep using glitches and hacks in the forest?

The forest still seems as nice as usual! Laughing out loud
I actually haven't seen any deer using the gods' items today, but there are a few going around antlerless (which doesn't bother me any) I guess I got the impression that the antler trick is ok, but everything else is off-limits. But if the community has decided to not exploit any glitches anymore, that's ok too, I can back that.

How do you remove the antlers? Would you mind describing?
I have a hex editor.

I think there is a tutorial posted up somewhere, but I've lost it on my track page. :/ It will probably be a couple pages back in the diaries.

Yes, but it doesn't work... I only end up with the default antlers or stubby antlers which I can sneeze of. I dont think I'm changing the right code.

You might want to ask Rell for clarification. I haven't needed to use a hex editor for months, so where exactly you need to edit is not very fresh in my mind. Sticking out tongue

Hello Ephra I dont mind you

Hello Ephra I dont mind you having no antlers i thought it was very kind of you to tell others how to have no antlers. But there is a way without the hex editor... You open up the endless forest files then go to data\assets characters\deer then delete Deer1AntlersLoD and if you want your deer to have no antler shadows delete Deer1VeryLowAntlers (may be different title). Note: You will NOT see deer with normal antlers antler's.

You're right, but I like the default antlers too much hehe. The stubby ones suit me fine anyway, I was like the trendsetter for those back in the day. Sticking out tongue
