Too bad that those nasty little fuzzy caterpillars killed our sumac trees...devoured them whole. Creepy little demons. I love nature, but those things...I accidentally place my shoe upon alot.

EDIT: I don't put 'photos' or 'skyline' in my tags. For instance, my most faved image, red moon...I think its tags are 'red moon reddest luna lune crimson night sky fog humid humidity dark midnight'...something like that. I just put in whatever might relate to it

I have a picture, I think, of a tree that's a favored home to those creatures. They are stripping it into a rib cage of branches and bark.

Google 'sumac tree'...the ones here -were- small with dark green leaves and red fuzzies (berries, maybe? i dunno)

OOH...a sumac tree would look beautiful in the forest.

That's what the ones around here USED to look like. I think our neighbor still has 2 of them...but they're being consumed, I think.

It's not that easy :/ The sumacs here were wild...and those demon caterpillars could easily have gotten to the trees by going down a silk strand to get to them, ugh x.x

Also, a spray may hurt the tree...

Meh...they say to put this kind of tape or something around them...but...meh, it wouldn't work for a tree that's under other trees

*just remembered*...Actually...I only have 7 1/2 cats, too...one's a hated stray, and one died somewhere :/ He was unneutered...and he ran off, never came back. Oh Squeaky...(we had nicknamed him Squiggy after the meerkat on meerkat manor, and...well, look what happened :/)

I feed my cats inside, I don't feed The Stray.

He was born with a deformed leg, and was left to die in the desert :/ He's the reason that my mom quit watching the shoew for a while.
