I see what's wrong. On your userpage, it doesn't show your picto; it just keeps flashing through them. By chance, when you registered, did the symbols on the side stop flashing? You might need to register again using a different browser (like Firefox or Opera; both are FREE). Make sure the pictos stop flashing so that you get one when you register.
