You aren't truly worshipping anything. I mean, I'm agnostic, and I know some aethiests here, they're not worshipping the "Twin Gods"...so why should you worry? :3
I support your decision either way, but...honestly, do you think He would prefer you possibly having other 'gods' in a fake world as a fake character, or that you leave that and leave friends who miss you dearly?
