Forever the mooncalf, he allows his conscious to slip beneath the surface
and dull his senses. His world is often muted-like sound traveling through
murky water; colors and shapes are often distorted.
He finds little that truly unnerves him, motivates him to shrink down in fear..

He does not hate or wish ill of them,
but is rather indifferent to their nonsense.

Dhudhwa possess very little social etiquette; this handicap often leads him to speaking
rather crudely and frankly. To put it simply, he comes off as an ass, though it is rarely
his intent.
He is generally not a violent individual, but once his ire is roused he may
lash out and is typically unapologetic about it. His anger dissipates rather
quickly-gone like a flash..
For all his gruffnes, he is not immune to playful, rowdy bouts.

Nine's okay isn't he? Dhud's kind of worried that Nine's hurting and feels he might be part of that. Not directly. Just that Nine seems more conflicted ever since he's and Dhudhwa became friends.
Above all else he wants to see him happy, whether that's with him or someone else. It pains him when Nine seems so troubled. He kind of wants to protect him from all that but he's not naive enough to believe he can. Kind of expierencing some complex emotions, which do not process well with Dhudhwa.
Mm, I know, I know. c': But he'll likely forget about it in a while, after some intense snuggling and powernapping.

I regret nothing, but I know you have other peeps.
Something about Nine helps him let go of that tension he's got built up inside him. He can express himself better and allow himself to be happy. Alleviate that suffocating feeling in his chest. He's the one bright spot in Dhud's life. Kind of scares him, he's basically coasted through life with a general understanding of his lesser emotions, while supressing everything else and letting it fester. He knows it isn't that simple, but has never had to experience it firsthand. Still he wouldn't give up what they have, if he had a chance to go back.

I'm glad he's made such an impact on him, even if Nine isn't fully aware of what he's doing to the boy. He is startled by the closeness between them, though.. he's really used to more aloof(sometimes even standoffish) company aside from a few does and more lively others, but he doesn't seem to be as close with them. o.o IDUNNO. *rambleramble*

Yeah, the speed in which they grew close is definitely a surprise. That first day they met, he figured their relationship wouldn't go beyond polite, casual encounters. Passing howdy-doos and such. But I guess they just clicked for whatever reason. Scary how quickly you can grow to care for someone, but it's definitely nice. Dhud of course loves Nine more than anything. ( serious bromance)
Strangely, I've never had blueberries, or kiwi. But I can seriously eat a whole bag of cherries in one go. And I like lemons, I eat the rind.

Yesterday, 9 and B had a conversation.. about whom he prefers the company of.. and Bylah proposed a bargain for Nine's 'freedom'- he can walk away if he choses, but he will not be welcomed back.. and Nine is understandably terrified. It's very difficult to leave something that's so tightly weaved into your daily life without a chance to return to it, you know?
He has some thinking to do. :/
Leave Bylah and have his time and heart free to Dhuddy.. or stay and stretch himself impossibly two ways and suffer in bliss.. ?
No, no I understand. We both do. It's a very tough ultimatum, and I cannot say I envy you.
Dhud and Nine may have a wonderful relationship, that seems to grow each day, but with Bylah , he has history. A lot of it, and it can be understandably hard to put that behind you, regardless of what kind of relationship you have. Even though, on the surface, both choices seem to almost fall in favor or Dhud, he wants Nine to make the decision he's the most comfortable with. And if that means he has his cakes and eats it, cie la vie.
Take all the time you need.
(LOL, I have to wonder who's harder to put up with, someone who offers a strict ultimatum or one who remains painfully neutral?)
(Bylah said the same thing- he doesn't envy Nine, that is.)

I imagine things made a bit more sense when Dhud wasn't around. Can't really say if he's sorry or not. Sorry, that Nine is conflicted, but not for being around in his life. It is a scary thing to think about leaving something behind, that's been a large part of your life. To think you might not ever see it again. Sometimes it's for the better, sometimes not. He may be a glutton, but this isn't a frivolous decision. It could have a great effect.
I'm sure.. as far as anything makes sense to Nine..
I'm glad he isn't sorry for being there, Nine doesn't regret meeting him at all. He's become a very prominent figure in his life and wouldn't want without him. As loving and social as he is, Nine's never had anything like Dhuddy before.

Good, because I don't think Dhuddy is noble enough to walk out of Nine's life completely. Though their relationship is fairly simple, at least in comparison to Nine and Bylah, seems like the situation has become a bit complex. No matter how hard you try, there's no way to keep relationships free from obstacles and challenges, unfortunately. Such is life I suppose.

I think.. if it wasn't a challenge- if there was no conflict to get over, it wouldn't be as valuable.. you really appreciate something when you're either in danger of losing it or if something else is keeping you from it. I think that's something else Nine's learned recently from spending time with Bylah- deep, raw appreciation for the love he shares with Dhuddy. <3

It definitely puts things in perspective for you. Makes you aware of the bonds you share with the people in your life, realize what sort of strength is behind them. The strongest can withstand just about anything. Dhud's definitely learned that not all complex emotions and situations sully relationships, and that they are worth struggling through if you find someone who's worth struggling for.

I'll be no help in that category. I listen to a lot of older music like Bob Dylan, Mamas and the Papas, B-52's. Sountracks, musicals (don't laugh). I like some newer bands, like New Pornographers, Loius XIV, Kings of Leon, as well. I can't even decide on what song to give Dhud.

It's very difficult to leave something that's so tightly weaved into your daily life without a chance to return to it, you know?
He has some thinking to do. :/

No, no I understand. We
Dhud and Nine may have a wonderful relationship, that seems to grow each day, but with Bylah , he has history. A lot of it, and it can be understandably hard to put that behind you, regardless of what kind of relationship you have. Even though, on the surface, both choices seem to almost fall in favor or Dhud, he wants Nine to make the decision he's the most comfortable with. And if that means he has his cakes and eats it, cie la vie.
Take all the time you need.
(LOL, I have to wonder who's harder to put up with, someone who offers a strict ultimatum or one who remains painfully neutral?)

I'm glad he isn't sorry for being there, Nine doesn't regret meeting him at all. He's become a very prominent figure in his life and wouldn't want without him. As loving and social as he is, Nine's never had anything like Dhuddy before.
