I can only get better. I keep on telling myself that xDD

My eyes ache..

Keep in mind that this is the first time I've been able to color a picture in several years.
It wasn't horrible coloring it, but it's already not my favorite thing to do |D

(drew it on artgrounds which has confusing layers xDD)
and I've had my tablet for nearly five hours.
*excuses excuses*

I think it looks good<3 and yes layers are awful, but once you figure it out they open up many doors

I'm horrible at remembering

I'm horrible at remembering what I put in what layer xD
Even when they're "sketch, shading" etc. -wins-

it was definitely a learning experience xD

It takes some time, getting

It takes some time, getting used to a tablet. I implore you, go find a copy of Paint Tool SAI. It's a great program to draw/color with. Super simple, compared to Photoshop, too.

Ooh those colours you used

Ooh those colours you used here are lovely <33 And her eyes are pretty as well! You'll get the hang of that tablet for sure XD They're so hard in the beginning. I actually took my mouse back when I tried my tablet for the first time.. Heheh..
