How do I screenshot things?

I'm wondering how I do a screenshot..?

I've tried pressing P which it says to do on the instructions but doesn't seem to work, because when I look in my screenshot's files there isn't anything there...

Click on your screenshot

Click on your screenshot folder and then click on compatibity files button above on the menu bar Eye

Are you in Program Files or Program files (x86)?
