Hotkey Troubles~ Help?

I can't get my hotkeys to work.
I hover my cursor over the action I want and I press F1, then I move it to the next action and press F2 and so on. However, when I get done and press any of the F keys, it doesn't do anything.

Is there something I need to enable/disable on my computer or am I just out of luck? XDD

Thats happened to me a few times before, but im not sure how I fixed it D:
Possibly hold the F button a little longer? Or possibly restart your game?

Does your keyboard have and

Does your keyboard have and "F Lock" button? If so, press it so the light next to the picture of an F key is lit up. (like caps lock)

I'm not seeing one~ nor is

I'm not seeing one~ nor is there any light next to my F keys.
I have one of those bluetooth wireless keyboards.

Then all I can say is, try hitting the F key more than once when you set it. And make sure you press it hard enough. Sometimes my actions won't work if I don't.
