February 18, 2010 - 7:26am — Rakkaus
I have no idea. Again, crazy whim. I just stopped questioning them long time ago.
This is pure silliness. Yesh. Oddly and randomly inspired by all the Sims stuff with deer folk all humanized and whatnot and since I do not have Sims, I was like “I can writez this instead!” Mawahahaha. So this is if Rakkaus and Rovaniemi lived together and Atvana just likes to manifest whenever –wherever It pleases and so Atty is like a third roomie. Enjoy!

Yawning, he padded out of the bedroom. It was still early, like six o’clock in the morning, early and he was too wired to stay curled up in a blanket pile. It got lonely by oneself in a blanket pile, if he had company he wouldn’t have been up this early. As things were, Rakkaus headed towards the kitchen.
Black hair that faded into silver tips was ruffled and obviously in a state of bed head. He ran a careless hand through the shoulder length locks and rolled his shoulders. He looked more like a twenty-something college student than a ex-Sidhe warrior with his youthful and lithe frame and careless way of carrying himself. Especially since he was without clothing but for a pair of Batman underwear that had ‘Why So Serious?’ printed on the butt.
Opening up the walk in freezer where his roomie slept in, Rakkaus peered into the cold depths of the closet sized room. The light clicked on and brought the room into color and focus. Sleeping on a frost covered mattress on the floor was the ice elemental by the name Rovaniemi. Pale, paler than an albino individual, Rovan was curled on his side, white wispy hair fanning out. Wearing nothing, he seemed more like skin and bones than anything else. Rovan had a bag of ice clutched in his arms like a cold teddy bear and white pupilless eyes opened and the elemental in human form sat up.
“Morning Rovan!” Rakkaus greeted happily, a friendly grin crossing his face. If it hadn’t been so cold in there, he’d have pounced on the mattress if he didn’t think the other would retaliate by freezing his hair again.
“I’m sleeping! For shits sake, you’re letting the heat in!” Rovan snarled, throwing a handful of ice and aiming the cold ammo at his warmer roommate.
Chunks of ice flew out and slid across the kitchen floor as Ra ducked out of the way. Shutting the door, he could hear more ice hitting the door followed by muffled obscenities. “Grump.”
Rakkaus made it short order of finding his box of Fruit Loops and a clean bowl and hooking the gallon of milk on one finger. Making his way, he sat down at the table, grinning and mouthing ‘Fruitie Loop-Loops’ to himself as he poured milk over the sweet cereal. Before he even had his first spoonful chewed, he had company at the table. “Hi Atty.” He stated, words slightly muffled before he could finish chewing. Grinning boyishly once he had the cereal swallowed, he looked over to his table companion.
The being smiled knowingly in response. Atvana sat, or more so perched on the back of the chair, bare feet planted on the seat of the chair. Soft leather breeches and a matching vest, both a dark maroon, almost like dried blood adorned the slender yet masculine pale skinned form. Today Its hair was a deep red, white feathers and beads tied into the waist long locks. Golden eyes peered curiously from an androgynous face at the cereal box.
“When you get in?” Rakkaus asked, pondering in offering the Forest Spirit some Fruit Loops but unsure if Forest Spirits even ate such things. He couldn’t help but subtly rock back and forth trying to tell if today Atty looked more female or male and like most often, couldn’t tell either way. Genderless beings could get away with that.
“Always here.” Atvana replied, voice soft and almost like there were other voices beneath it, but they were whispers and in different languages. Another smile, full of love and wonder and understanding. Reaching out with a delicate hand, a hand that would be an artist’s hand, the entity took the cereal box closer for inspection.
“…not what I meant.” Ra stated, but shrugged. Atty had answered him, but sometimes It answered cryptically or so straight forward it sounded cryptic and Ra just kind of went along with it. “So…Fruit Loops?” Rakkaus asked, seeing how the other was so intent on studying the cereal box. It was always interesting to see how curious Atty could be about the simplest things. Ra had learned to appreciate the little things since having met the Forest Spirit.
“I don’t want cereal.” Was the direct yet polite reply. With a spoonful of loops on the way to his mouth, Ra just stared as the cereal box was there one second and then it was gone and replaced by a small tree. With a hum that sounded like the rapid beats of a hummingbird’s wings than something coming from a vocal box, Atvana plucked bright green leaves off the little tree It had converted and nibbled on them contently.
With a snort and a laugh, Rakkaus was amused. “That’s one way of recycling, Atty.” He told the other fondly, grinning. Atty did a lot of strange things, but they were always awesome good things.
After the Fruit Loops had been consumed, Ra followed Atty to the living room, sitting with the other companionably. Tree still in hand, Atvana sat with Its legs tucked under it and not being able to resist snuggle time with a dear friend, Rakkaus cuddled up to Atty’s side happily. About to suggest watching some cartoons, the companionable silence was interrupted by aggravated shout.
“What the hell!? Who unplugged my freezer?” Rovan spat out, standing angrily in the doorway, frost climbing up the archway. The ice elemental was not happy and was obvious by the sudden drop of the rooms temperature. As soon as he saw that Atvana was sitting on the couch, his anger seemed to deflate and he sighed. “Should’ve known.” He muttered, knowing what the other was up to.
Like a sulky child, Rovan sat on the other side of Atty. Crossing his cold arms over his chest and glaring at nothing in particular, he took a seat but refused to be social. It was still too damn early. Rakkaus simply grinned knowingly at Atvana as It reached out and patted Rovan on the knee with a smile.
xDDD That was great. *smiled
*smiled a lot*
I love this so hard I can't
It looks amazing. It acted perfectly. The replies were flawless. The languages in the tones under its voice was something I wish I'd thought of myself. The tree sounds delicious. The mischief was precise. And the knee bit STILL has me laughing!
In short, this is perfect.
Good job, love. <3
