Whitetail deer are hard to draw tsk. Not even sure if she actually looks like one. I tried to look up their species size-difference, and I think now I look at this Lucian still isn't fully grown. (He's quite a lot bigger since my last pictures. Hm.)
Even though I'm not sure about looking-like-a-whitetail, I quite like Stelmaria here <3.. Hope you do too. Enough rambling! Have cake!

I love everything, everything about this. ;_; Their pose, the fantastic shading, their faces... the anatomy is incredibly deer-like. I love the colors of their eyes. Especially Lucian's. There's something so intense about the green, and they really pop against the black of his fur. And his antlers... I don't know why, but his antlers just really get me. They're so impressive, even if he thinks they are small. c: He looks so regal and protective, while Stella looks so shy and friendly there. <3
