Has been scarcely glimpsed in the forest for months. She's been spending the vast majority of her time in Miorne under Slade's roof with Beñat - discovering, developing, and refining her abilities alongside the Erebid, most of which she didn't even know she had.

Finds it somewhat challenging to connect with other residents of Miorne, although has only directly interacted with a handful. Still, feels as if she's 'missing something' by being so reclusive and would like to attempt making friends... or at least acquaintances. Thus, she's decided to make an effort to visit the forest more often than she has. Hopes that its familiarity and more magic-inclined population will make it easier for her to reach out.

Notes » So many things but to start, wORK HAS BEEN SO BUSY and has definitely been leeching a lot of the time I'd be using to be more active around here :c And then when I AM home, I'm exhausted from work and end up nearly as unproductive with TEF/art as I would be if I were still in the office. Also trying new meds, so that's just another thing added into the mix (but they don't seem to be doing anything at all for me yet ugh, and I really rEALLY fkin need them to).
This bio is also........... in desperate need of updating omfg, so many outdated things and I don't even know what I want to do with it.. or how... HOPEFULLY I CAN REMEMBER HOW TO CODE SINCE I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO DO ANY OF THAT IN MONTHS, EITHER. sigh.. well, I've had some extra muse for Gris lately, so hopefully she'll poke around the forest more - along with some of my other chars - if I can manage to open TEF without fading into some sort of abyss/passing out 20 minutes later (:

Reserved » Grisaille is quiet and keeps a lot to herself. Her emotions are not often immediately expressed, but when they are, their intensity is at a lesser scale in most cases. She is especially reluctant to exhibit or admit feelings of fear, disliking the vulnerability that results from doing so. Neither playfulness nor boisterousness come naturally to her, nor are they ever exhibited save for rare instances. The female's demeanor has always come across as exceedingly steady ever since she first appeared in the forest as an adolescent.

Wary » The inhabitants of the forest - and the forest in general - were unfamiliar to her upon her arrival in her youth, and she felt a considerable amount of apprehension not knowing how she ended up here and unable to leave on her own; not that she would've known where to go if she could. The uncertainty that came with this new existence caused slivers of distrust to taint her view of those who approached her, but now, her guarded nature stems from another source. Living among demons and being mentored by one such deity for months has gleaned her insight into the ugly sides of many, including those she didn't suspect harbored as much darkness as they did - herself included. After those experiences, the dark doe finds it difficult to place trust in others even when she wants to and goes great lengths to avoid having to ever rely on anyone else.

Observant » Vigilant and watchful, Grisaille tends to catch small details and changes. Even though she may not always know the meaning behind the subtle shift in, for example, body language or expression, she does recognize that a change occurred. She is often sensitive to the auras others emanate, and sometimes they take on qualities that she relates to them - for example, an individual she may associate with kindness and comfort may make the air around them feel 'still,' or calm.

Curious » Alongside the caution and confusion with which she regarded the forest, Grisaille experiences fascination. The young doe's vague memories of her origin feel vastly different to this warm, lush environment, and many of the inhabitants' unique appearances and auras are considered appealing or interesting to her.

Fleeting » Grisaille doesn't stay in one place for too long, unless she's with company. When she isn't roaming through the forest in attempts to gain a better sense of direction and memorize landmarks (or observe others), the spot she chooses to settle in will hold her presence for just a while before she relocates.

Disquieting » Although she does not seem to be outwardly malevolent or violent in nature, certain individuals might find something off-putting about the doe. Perhaps it's her mesmerizing, hypnotic stare; perhaps her own heavy aura; or maybe her skeletal markings remind one of death. This unsettling sense is likely to fade as one grows closer to her on friendly terms, but may or may not vanish completely.
