"Dig faster! I think we've found something here!", Iugulare's voice ordered. She watched as Anirapio and Nekumbra dug deep into the ground near the Ruins. The dragon and spider-doe huffed with each stroke into the ground, and little by little a massive skull was uncovered.
"That's enough. I'll take over from here.", the stoat spoke, and climbing down into the ditch that the other two had dug, she studied the newly found bones.
"Interesting...this is another wolf skeleton like the rock hounds, but...", she began, Anirapio finishing her sentence,
"It's huge compared to the others. This must have been the leader."
"Leader? I'm confused, I thought those 'alpha' rock hounds were the leaders.", Nekumbra questioned. Iugulare looked over to her,
"Mhmm...those ones were high ranking, but even they bowed down this this one. I'll have to forge another crystal, it shouldn't take too long...", she replied, and climbing out, she said to them,
"Guard the skeleton. I'll be back in a moment.", and hurrying off she slunk into the darkness.
Time passed, and Iugulare returned with a new crystal...one pure white and glistening brightly. She climbed into the ditch, and inserting the crystal along with some infection into the wolf's skull, she stepped out and watched as the skeleton came to life, pulling itself out of the bedrock as the infection connected the bones and created tendons. The skeleton was indeed much larger than them, seeming to tower over them as it bent down.
The great wolf skeleton was able to speak through telepathy much like Anirapio could,
"You have freed me and my clan from our prison, and for that I thank you. Now be on your way, as I have much to do. Those foolish deer of this Forest will be exterminated by my pack for refusing us."
The words bothered Iugulare, who replied,
"You will follow my orders alone. I have a deer for you to hunt...", but the skeleton laughed and spoke,
"You dare give me orders? I am the leader of the Sonoma Tribe, I am the one who gives orders, not take them! This is your last warning as you are already annoying me - leave me to my work or die!"
"How dare you! I am the one who brought you back into the world, and you defy my commands? I can easily remove my infection and let you rot in the ground!", Iugulare spat angrily. The great wolf skeleton scoffed, and with concentration, the Deadly Trio heard something strange from within the wolf. The white crystal within shattered into countless pieces, yet the wolf remained in-tact and in control. Iugulare could no longer command the infection on the wolf's bones, and it lowered it's great head toward them and said,
"What little control you had over me is no more. I wonder how it would feel to devour you and your little friends. I loved feeling my prey squirm within my stomach, and I may not have one anymore but this blackness you have given will be suitable." The great wolf lunged at them, all three managing to escape in time.
"It's too big for us to handle!", Anirapio called. Iugulare hissed and then called,
"Fall back!". The trio escaped, and the great wolf looked down and watched with pleasure as they ran. Turning, she let out a massive roar that shook the ground, calling out to her wolves.
-----------------------
"This isn't good!", Nekumbra spoke, catching her breath. Iugulare paced angrily,
"It wants to kill all of the deer! If that happens, my plans will be ruined! I've got to have live hosts if I'm to have my army for invasion!" "What could we possibly do? This has already gotten out of hand.", Anirapio questioned.
"We can't fight it with brute force. How else could we defeat this giant wolf?", Nekumbra asked. Iugulare sighed at this point,
"There's only one option I can think of...and none of us will like it."
-----------------------
The blackbuck was lapping up pond water when he raised up, sniffing the air. Quad turned in time to see Iugulare, Anirapio, and Nekumbra approaching him. Immediately he grew the wings on his back, and standing his ground, he expected a fight here and now.
"Wait, Quad! We're not here for this. We...", Nekumbra began, unsure of the words to speak.
"Your kind is in danger. I know, it's odd that we would come to you for this, but...", Anirapio continued the sentence, letting Iugulare muster the heart to speak.
"We need your help, Quad."
The fat blackbuck tilted his head, not believing his ears. Were his enemies actually asking him for help?
"Is this some kind of trick?", Quad questioned immediately.
"No trick this time.", Iugulare spoke, and at that time, a loud crash sounded nearby. Quad turned in time to see a massive creature roaming in the distance, knocking trees over and roaring. Several of the small rock hounds could be seen underfoot, running and 'barking' alongside the giant wolf skeleton.
"That's the creature there. I lost control of the infection on it."
Quad backed turned toward the giant wolf skeleton in the distance, backing away enough to where he was standing beside Iugulare and the other two. At this point, to Quad, enemies didn't matter. He wanted this thing stopped.
"Alright, I'll fight it, but I'm going to get some help. There's too many of the rock hounds for me to handle at once.", he spoke.
"Quad, don't think for a moment that this makes us friends. I still despise you...but in this case, having a common enemy is enough for a truce.", Iugulare spoke bluntly.
The blackbuck nodded, and turning, he said,
"Meet me at the pond in a few moments. I'll have some others with me to fight.", and immediately he ran off.
-----------------------
Word spread quickly that the Forest was in danger, and those able to fight were to come to the pond. Quad awaited both his friends as well as the Deadly Trio, the precious moments seeming like an eternity to him while the great wolf and the rock hounds were running rampant.
Roleplay continued in comments
Niki had been struggling with
He had rammed the wolf again in plain desperation as he had seen it getting back up again and mashed it against the same tree, hearing a sickly crack as he pushed against it as hard as he could.
taking a few steps away, he could see that the hound was not getting back up anymore. He stomped on the crystal and managed to dislodge it as he heard the cries of others and turned just in time to see one of the does get devoured by the giant wolf.
Who had allowed does on the battlefield in the first place? thay didn't even have antlers to protect themselves with.
The horrid burning from the wound on his neck brought him back from his thoughts and he settled his legs a bit wider apart to keep from toppling over, he had to get away from the fight for now.
Niki looked up from the ground and felt another wave of dizzyness hit him as he began to make his way to the others as well.
The world had seemed to go quiet around him, he could hear his own heavy breathing and feel the tremors in the ground as the giant wolf moved around, and every tremor sent a wave of burning pain down his back from the wound on his neck.
He looked at the ground momentarily and saw a few gooy drops of something black drop to the ground underneath him. That should have alarmed him, but he couldn't really figure out why.
He looked up from the trampled grass and could swear that he had smelt a familiar scent trough the nothing that surrounded him, an image of a ligh brown pelted doe flashed before his eyes and he shook his head to get rid of the image.
This was no time to hallucinate about anything.
He finally reached where the dragon circkled and the others had rushed to, he wasn't sure why, but it had to be important.
This one deer seemed to be important in their fight for some reason.
Niki felt his feet give out as the burning in his neck intensified, he should have been more careful with that purple wolf, but there was nothing he could do now.
A ray of sunlight refleckted from the pond's surface and he cringed as he could feel the black infection on his neck bubble furiously and cause him more pain.
He just needed to stay awake now.
But why was there that same hazy brown pelted doe walking towards him with that familiar scent?
((I would be very grateful if someone would please notice my poor stag and help him this time, as i seemed to get over looked in my last post ^^; ))
Phion found herself quite
Phion found herself quite busy. She had witnessed and profusely thanked Quad for his heroics, bolted for Zera, and had only just began to heal her when she smelled flesh... infected flesh.
Her eyes spotted a stag. He was on the ground and the infection was boiling in his neck. Quickly, she asked Ana to bring him over so that she could heal him as well.
Eyes and pelt aglow, the doe went back and forth from kissing wounds healed and boiling away infection. Niki and Zera kept her back full of things to do and boiling infection wafting in her nostrils kept her on track.
Zera, you should just rest now. Everything will be fine. Just sleep. Phion first finished with Zera, her wounds healing before everyone's eyes, though slowly concerning the fact that they were deep. Flowers littered the vines that criss-crossed her body, both holding the doe down and blooms dying as her wounds healed and bones knitted back together. Now to turn to Niki.
Phion had already boiled away most of the infection, though still it remained. Her mind focussed, the light reaching out to him to sear away any more infection and harmonize the wound so it quit bleeding. She kissed the gashes and cuts he had acquired, watching as each healed to new skin. Collapsing more from relief than exhaustion, Phion awaited one of the two's rise.
(thanks, starling! The avatar is amazing! And Thanks Pretzil for the siggie!
She watched in silence as
'If you need my help for anything, just let me know.' Her voice called to Kahlan's mind as she circled the wolf. She could attempt to weaken it, either with a physical attack or with her fire, but not unless Kahlan asked her to.
Zera awoke with a huge gasp,
"Well that was stupid..." She managed to rasp with a laugh, before falling about in another fit of cough, bringing up blood also.
"Honestly though," She continued, regardless, "Thank you, Phi, Quad, Anirapio, thanks..."
She stopped moving again and waited for the vines that bound her to be released.
((I just realized that my
Niki panted in pain as the infection responded to the sunlight it was subjected to, how something this small could cause so much pain that it paralyzed his body and mind he didn't know, but the only relief that he had was the hazy image of a doe before him who had bent down to give him a curious sniff.
There was something eerily familiar in the way that the doe tilted her head and flicked her ears as she inspected him, something that Niki thought he should remember.
A sudden increase in the burning that courced trough his body brought him quickly back to the battle field and the doe that was now tending to the other that the wolf had crushed in it's teeth and eaten.
How was she out of the beast?
What had he missed?
Niki turned his eyes carefully and saw the huge wolf being circkled by the dragon from before, there was also some damage to the surrounding forest. They might yet have a chance against it.
He tried to move but it almost felt like he wasn't in his own body at the moment, the burning had lessened again and he could see the doe from before.
She was standing a small distance away and was beconing for him to come to her, to rush trough the forest and bathe in the small columns of sunlight that filtered trough the great canopy.
He wanted to follow her, but he was being held back by his unresponsive body, he couldn't leave it behind like this.
Then the final haze from his vision lifted and the doe disappeared from his sight for good, like a ghost that vanishes without a trace.
He could feel a slight soft tingling from the wounds that he had aquired during his battles with the hounds before, dulling the pounding ache that he could easily relate to bleeding wounds and broken skin in general.
There was none of that strange vicious burning that had dropped him in to that dream like haze from before.
Niki carefully bent his knees and pulled his legs closer to his body as he turned his head to see the doe that had used some kind of magic to heal the wounds that he had suffered.
"Thank you".
He muttered quietly, before quicklyrolling himself on to his stomach, from where he could easily leap up if he was needed to.
He could feel the slight pain from his neck still, a reminder of this horrible battle that he would carry with pride.
He turned his head towards the doe and could easily see that the she was worn and tired from this whole ordeal, but there was the tell tale spark of relief in her eyes as well.
"I'm truly thankful for your efforts on healing my wounds. If there is anything at all I can do for you in return, don't hesitate to ask".
((Sorry Willow_Leaf, didn't
The great wolf reared up at this point, and looking down at those who continued to fight, it spoke to them, "Little fools, you're wasting your time trying to defeat me! Why do you continue to resist your fate? You may have destroyed my young ones, but our time will come soon enough to where we rule this Forest! Look at you, weak, weary, so eager to die today. Surrender yourselves to me and I will make your death quick."
The wolf opened it's mouth and spewed fire all around them. The Forest began to burn, damaging the wolf's infection, but at this point, all it cared about was killing those who opposed it. Iugulare was the first to flee, the light from the fire was too much for her. Quad nearly blacked out again, barely able to keep his eyes open. Anirapio stayed by his side, wrapping him with her wing and keeping him safe from the flames. Nekumbra took Hex and the two of them ran off as well.
The wolf slowly began to rise to it's feet, though the bones seemed more loose as the infection was slowly coming apart from the light of the fire all around. It seemed that the wolf really had no idea how much the light was damaging it.
"Illrose!" She called out. "I
Besides, she would need to be close to that thing, and she wasn't sure that she could be that maneuvrable as a deer. As a human she knew that she could be, having trained in some dancing when she was growing up, she had learned how to be somewhat flexible and manouverable. Hopefully it would be enough...although...with Illrose or her other dragon protector, Anirapio, she might be able to get onto the beast from above. That would help.
Nathaniel was still battling fiercly, though his injuries were becoming a bit more severe. shit, He thought need to fucking get out of this bit. Too many hounds. His sword sliced through another blue and purple as he dropped back a little, his breathing heavy and his body covered in what was presumably his own blood, which had a purplish tinge to it.
Zera stuggled beneath her
"Help! Somebody, help me!"
She continued to writhe and yell, but was starting to have blood drip from her mouth again. She cursed beneath her breath and yelled again.

She continued to circle the
'Right.' She murmured and began to look for the man among the flames. Illrose immediately dived when she noticed Nathaniel, still fighting the wolves. She sent off a blast of fire that burned a purple and a green wolf, making them drop dead in the grass.
'Sorry about this, but Kahlan need you.' Illrose then said as she hovered right above Nathaniel, reaching down and grabbing the man firmly in one of her clawed feet. She then brought him back to the doe, landing right before her on one foot, while she carefully sat Nathaniel down with the other. She looked back at the great wolf, and then at the fire that was eating more and more of the forest. Kahlan seemed to have a plan, and Illrose hoped it was a good one.
She looked to the man that
"I need you to please transform me back to my human form," She said, as the wounds across the man's body closed.
Nathaniel sighed. He had wondered if she was going to ask for something like that when she had had Illrose drag him over. This was going to upset Illrose.
"I no longer have the strength, or chaotic energy to do so easily," Nathaniel said. "To do so would require that I...transform Illrose back to her natural forest state." He hoped his friend would not be angry with him. There was still a lot of chaotic energy in the air, but he was using too much of it on his wounds and pain relief. He knew that even though the doe was healing him, it wasn't fast enough to maintain him, so he had been supplementing.
Niki's head turned to the
But just as he was about to bolt away from his spot in the grass with Phion, he heard the wail for help from the does other side and he rushed over.
It was the doe that had been eaten by the wolf before, and she was tied down by long plants and flowers.
Their function was lost on the stag as he started to gnaw trough them and rip them off the ground to relese the doe.
Even if the plants were there for healing, the healer should understand that they had to get away from here now.
He smelled blood as he continued to pull the vines away and free the doe underneath.
"Can you get up now?"
Niki asked as he continued to un tangle the plants.
Zera managed to pull the
"Thank you." she said to the stag, before looking at the forest. It choked her up to see it destroyed.
"C'mon, we'd better go. Sister, let's go!" She nudged the light towards Phion, who was looking drained, before heading off to find Kahlan. Maybe this time she would get there without being eaten.
The flames subsided around
"I'm getting you out of here, Quad!", Anirapio spoke, and standing, she wobbled to her feet, stretching her burnt wings out to cool them.
"I'm staying, Ani! They need me out there!", Quad tried to speak heroically, though attempting to stand was to no prevail, his legs failing him and his body struggling desperately to cooperate.
"Don't be a fool! You've already died once here, why cause yourself more pain? Let the others deal with the big wolf, you idiot!", Anirapio snapped at him, and standing over, he prepared to pick him up.
"Let go of me! I can still...graaaaarrrrgghhhhhh!!!", Quad struggled for a moment, the pain returning to him. He let out another deafening roar, and weary, he rested his head, gritting his teeth and hissing as his body seemed to throb in agony.
"Either we're going or I'm eating you! What will it be, Quad?", Anirapio's ultimatum was quick and unexpected. Quad shut his eyes and said reluctantly, "All right, all right...let's go..."
The dragon lifted him up with her mantis-like forearms and then soared away. Quad's body dangled in Anirapio's grip, and he watched in seemingly slow-motion while he passed over - thick flames, bones everywhere, the great wolf seeming unstoppable. He let out a disheartening sigh.
This is my fault. It always has been. I failed the Endless Forest., he blamed himself, as he and Anirapio vanished in the billowing smoke.
Illrose silently listened to
'Do what you must do.' She said to him, preparing for the pain she knew would come when the transformation would begun. Not that that pain was anything compared to the injuries many had suffered on the battlefield this day.
"This is probably going to
Kahlan called out in pain as the transformation across her began. The bone shifting was much more painful than she had expected, she had thought that her power would protect her, or something would, such as when she travelled between the two realms, but this time no such luck, she felt every bone shift, but just as soon as she felt the pain, it was gone again, and she was on two feet. Her huamn form, inside the forest. It was an odd feeling.
She looked at herself a little bit to make sure everything was there and working properly. No problems, that she could feel. She gazed into the pond a little, just making sure she was really her again. Same pale skin, same long dark brown hair that came in loose curls. But there was a difference, as where normally she would wear her long white dress, this time she was wearing something different. Though she hadn't expected that. She had thought her dress would reappear, apparently it did not. This time she was wearing a tighter black dress, a battle dress, she realised, when she realised that she'd have full movements of her legs, which were being shown off, she realised, this was not a very long dress. It barely hit her knees. She was glad that she naturally had decent enough legs. There was a blush on her face, but she had to get over that.
A business like demeanour came with one exhale.
"Right, since Illrose isn't a dragon anymore...shit. Anirapio's gone," She cursed. She didn't know what she would do without a dragon. She needed to be on top of that thing for her power to be most effective, with the least chance of being hit by it's attacks. Oh well...that's the easy plan out the window She thought. Guess I'm going to do this the hard way. That involved a plan that was going to look like suicide.
"When I go to face it...no matter what, unless I directly ask for help. Don't follow me. Don't attempt to rescue me if I look like I'm in danger," She said, a comanding tone to her usually meeker and shyer voice. "If...If I'm channelling my powers and you come close enough to me...it might hit you. That will not look pretty. Illrose, you know what I mean, so you can testify to what could happen...right?"
Zera arrived on scene just in
Her surprise was cut short by Kahlan then speaking. Z listened closely before speaking herself.
"Kahlan, I can blind it and deafen it for a while if you want me to, but in this state I won't be able to hold it for long." She spat out some more blood before carrying on.
"Just... just call me if you need me."
((Need to confess something.
Anirapio brought Quad deeper into the Forest, where some of the others were. Nekumbra and Zephyr sat together, Hex was nearby, and Iugulare had just found them there. The dragon lay Quad by his daughter, the two nuzzling affectionately upon his arrival. "Nek, take care of his wounds the best you can. I'm going to help Kahlan.", Anirapio spoke.
"Be careful out there, dear!", the spider doe said to her friend, and then went to help Quad. "Whatever they tell you to do, do it.", Iugulare spoke to Anirapio before she approached the others, and at that moment, the four of them didn't seem to be enemies, simply four beings together watching the events unfold.
At that moment, Anirapio took to the sky once more, and left them, heading back into the fray. She would make it back in a few moments, and would listen and obey Kahlan's commands without question.
Roe shook herself from her
Roe shook her head. It didn't matter. She would help in whatever manner she could. She called out to Kahlan. "Tell me what I can do and I'll do it." She waited for instructions.
Niki quickly made his way
She was clearly not well enough yet to be moving around like this, if the blood dripping from her chin was any indication.
They quickly made their way out of the area that was being devoured by flames and to the forms of Illrose and another doe, Kahlan? And there was also some other creature, a two legged one, who was doing something to change the doe in to a creature like him.
Niki shook his head slightly to make sure he was seeing correctly as the forms of the two, does? Changed in front of his eyes.
The dragon shrinking in to a deer, and the deer turning in to another creature entirely.
He had never seen creatures like these before.
He looked towards the huge wolf and heard the new creature's plan.
To Niki's eyes, she looked too frail to be able to do much to it. But he had learned by now, that looks could be misleading.
Anirapio soon arrived and
We are here to back you.
She would be ready, willing, and for the most part able if called.

The pain was horrible, worse
"Yes, I can." She answered the woman, before she trotted a bit away, to keep her distance unless she was needed. The fire felt hot against her black fur, even though she actually stood quite far from the fire itself. Her eyes went to Anirapio when the other dragon returned. She could perhaps be useful.
"I was going to attack it
I could run you in there... I
Phion offered. She would give anything, even her life, to save the forest. She could be healed by the sun if she became injured, but killed... she would just return to the forest... come back maybe one day... as a new flower, maybe. But she welcomed death if it wanted her.

Kahlan shook her head. Her

Anirapio snorted, in a way
The giant wolf was already starting to approach them, spewing more fire this time directly at the Pond. It watched in pleasure as the water seemed to boil, the koi suffocating and appearing belly-up on the surface.
It was a way for it to warn them that they, too, were prepared to die.
Niki watched the exchange of
He listened for the plan and blinked when Phion volunteered herself, a healer shouldn't run to the front line like that. Niki couldn't help but feel a bit pleased when the woman said that she'd go alone before the dragon offered it's help.
The plan had seemed to get agreed on very quickly then, The woman would get to the wolf with the help of the dragon.
Flames suddenly licked the air near them and the pond heated up dangerously.
Niki turned to see the woman who seemed to be the head of the attack.
"Do you need it distracted for your approach? I'm fast, and I would feel easier if the beast wouldn't attack you straight away".
He just couldn't help it, dragon for help or no. This two legged creature that the doe had turned in to just looked too frail to even think of doing anything to the big wolf.
Illrose remained in the
Nathaniel saw Illrose go
Kahlan sighed, shaking her head. She knew that she would not be able to convince Anirapio to let her go now.
"Very well," Kahlan said, walking over to the dragon, and hopping onto her back. It was a reasonable jump, but she made it. "Get me as close as you can get and then I'll get off. Stay behind, and my powers may hit you. I will not be classed your murderer."
Be careful, that infection is
Phion then added a little more: If it sees you, we will distract it so you can finish the job. We're ready when you are.

The dragon nodded her head,
She flew toward the Wolf, though rising over its head. The wolf seemed preoccupied so it didn't notice them above it. "It has no idea we're here.", she spoke.
"Thanks Anirapio," She said
She lowered altitude close to
She nodded lightly with her head to signal that Kahlan should jump.

When this is all over, She promised herself, I'm sleeping - ALL day!
She noticed some others heaing over and killing some more rock hounds, but in her state there was no way she could do it now. It was only a mild pain but it just made her weary. Weary of this.
She wanted to help, she really did but right now there was nothing she could do. She would only help if Kahlan called her, but until then she would sit near the pond, and avoid death.
((So yeah, until Z's needed, she won't be fighting. I'll still chech up on what's going on though ^^))
She jumped off the dragon,
"I'm telling you to leave now," Kahlan shouted to the wolf. "If you don't...we'll take you out."
The wolf raised up just

Elsewhere, Zephyr and Quad had fallen asleep. Nekumbra was gently holding Quad's daughter, she had buried her face into the spider-doe's chest as if Nekumbra was her own mother. Quad, meanwhile, was resting on Iugulare, who caressed him gently. It was a rare sight to see her comforting her own enemy.
"He's yours for the taking, why not finish him?", Nekumbra whispered to Iugulare.
The stoat shook her head, "No, I'm done playing games with him. It was a mistake to create the Rock Hounds, I understand that now. I don't just want Quad captured so easily anymore. I want to fight him at his full power, so we can truly see which of us is stronger.", she replied.
Nekumbra didn't understand this, a sudden change of heart she supposed. She would not understand how much pride Iugulare truly had. But if it was her wish, then so be it.
Quad and his daughter slumbered peacefully, completely unaware of how much danger they truly had put themselves in while the stoat and spider-doe had them like this. They were lucky that Iugulare's plans had changed. She didn't want an easy fight, she craved a challenge.

And...I made a sketch of this to those of you following the RP who didn't see it: Link
Illrose smiled slightly at
The wolf turned and dunked
-.- how did I manage this.
There was death energy
She looked towards the wolf that had turned towards the water, probably hoping to remove whatever was causing it to choke. She guessed that it was some disloged bone dust, that made her smirk somewhat evily. Time for it to die The thought enclosed around her, became her top priority. The wolf's death was what would happen. Though it did set off an alarm bell or two in the little rational section, it was stamped out by the desire to destroy the wolf. The energy surrounding her began to flare, taking out anything roughly two to three metres near her, she heard something drop -a wolf's crystal?-, but she couldn't look back just yet to see what it was.
The flare began to concentrate around her hand, turning the skin around it almost completely black with the light that surrounded it. She seemed to have a wind pushing her hair and dress back yet nothing was actually causing it other than the energy in front of her. The dark glint in her onyx eyes sparkled once in the light of a release of a white discharge, a common thing when using her power. She looked to the wolf once more, readying her aim.
And the shot of extraordinarily powerful death energy was sent. It would rip that wolf to shreds, it would disintergrate the bones, rot the infection. Do what needed to be done.
Kahlan dropped. Her body looking ill.
Dealing with Death comes with a price was the last sing song thought of another voice in her mind, before blackness overcame her.
Zera leapt up, getting away
She turned to the wolf, it's head still submerged in the water, waiting for what happened next.
The wolf let out a deafening
Anirapio flew down and wrapped around Kahlan, lifting her up and taking her away from the destruction of the wolf. She brought Kahlan to the Twin Gods' hill, where all of the crystals had been placed, and where the others, including Iugulare, Nekumbra, and the drowsy Quad and Zephyr, would soon gather. Iugulare moved swiftly into the ruins of the big rock hound's body, collecting the shattered white crystal and bringing it back to the hill. Using her own magic, she fused the shards back together into the original shape, though it remained black just like all the others.
Quad raised his weary head, and spoke the Twin Gods' names. At that moment, they appeared before the warriors, and bowed to them all - even the Deadly Trio. The gods looked down at the shards, and purifying them with a single kiss from each of them, the wolves appeared as spirits before them - 112 in total, including the great wolf they just fought.
"Listen to us, all of you!", Auriea spoke to the wolves, "We now understand what we did was wrong, but please understand, we were only protecting our deer. We wanted to give them their own paradise free from worry, and we understand you wanted your paradise as well, where you could hunt freely. We are truly sorry that we shunned you, it was not our intention."
"We are willing to give you a new life, please accept our gift and our most sincere apology that this tragedy happened.", Michael added.
