The Glitch

I've never stalked anything in my life. But this being was extraordinary. And I was bored out of my mind.
The dark, yet colorful shape of a young animal caught my eye one day as the hot sun blazed down into the forest, shining streams of light through the trees which casted moving shadows on the grassy ground. I could not believe my eyes. This creature looked similar to me. Besides the fact that she...he...it? had enormous, plated growths coming out of the crown of their head.
Despite the youthful appearance, the thing was tall and large, having what seemed like a second face; protruding outwards on either side, but allowing a set of glinting red eyes to peer out. Awestruck, I ventured closer to the edge of the clearing in which the animal was resting in.
My movement must have caught [her?] attention, because now she was staring right at me, glowing carmine eyes fixed on mine.
Dare I move?
My heart was racing, thumping wildly against my chest, pounding in my ears. I had no idea if this creature was hostile or not. Deciding to be brave, I slowly ventured out into the clearing, revealing myself.
Bowing my head down gently and rising back up as my best show of submission, I waited for her to react.
A smile appeared on the jet-black face of the being, showing surprisingly familiar-looking teeth; save the sharp ones on either side of her grin.
The response was completely unexpected, and I tilted my head slightly in confusion, but widened my eyes as I realized that she was approaching me.
Frozen to my spot in fascination, I watched as the frame of the animal abruptly disappeared---and reappeared in a different spot, attention still focused on her follower.
Mouth agape and mind swimming with thoughts, I sprinted towards the trees again, shaking my head over and over and replaying the scene in my head like a movie.
What was that?!
Was I loosing it? I never imagined that possible...or even thought of such a feat to be possible.
Glitch. A strange word I remembered hearing a long time ago; when the golden one was still caring for me. Vaguely, it meant something that is not supposed to happen, an unexplainable phenomenon for most.
Curious, still
What is it?
Beast?
Elemental, like the Nina Isi?
Spirit, like the golden one?
Friendly?
Vicious?
I had to find out.
This creature looked like me, yet was not like me at all.
I would find out.
Try to befriend the he-she-it.
I had to know.
My curiosity was compelling me.
Especially since this was a Glitch.
Am I supposed to be afraid of the unknown, or am I to seek it out?
The latter seemed more exciting.
After all, I was always one for adventures.

For characters/deer that interest me, I write about the first time Ahtun encounters them [from his point of view]. He's still kind of young, and you can tell that he still has a lot to learn, but writing the stories is always fun and sometimes challenging.
You blow his mind.

I was just wondering about the red guy at the bottom of your comments. Is he one of yours, too?
Ahhh, thank you. ^^ Sadly
Sadly nothing moves for me. Glad it has such a power over you, though.
Yes, he is. I have quite a lot of characters, but I don't play them as often as I used to, sadly.
Well, edj and I were having a
So far, everyone I've met here on the site seems pretty friendly. And in the game too, mostly.
It makes me happy you are so
I see no problem in it at all, but I tend to be a slow replier at times, and now that the summer break is over, I go back to school tomorrow and honestly I'm already pretty nervous.
That's fine. I completely
