Meet Hare. This is a quick genesis story for him. Feel free to reply if you feel inspired to interact with him. It's an open invitation to role play with this little guy. He's still a fawn and is very curious and outgoing.
The forest laid silent as the comforting blanket of darkness covered it with it's soft satin sheet. Everyone was at peace and resting comfortably for the night. The only sounds being those of the occasional night animal making it's rounds and the resounding hoot of an owl here and there. The moon shone brightly this night, it's radiant beams extending accross the canopy of trees gently caressing the leaves closest to the sky. She ran her fingers through them like silky hair. A soft breeze blew through the trees towards the birch forest weaving through tall skinny trees of ashen coloured bark and few foliage before resting in the tall slender yellowing grass of this part of the forest. The moon's light concentrated here in a tight beam. Small snowy particles danced around the light as something small materialized.
It was a small fawn of a dark brown colour with white speckled upon it's pelt. The face of an infant, soft and calm. Round blushing cheeks, a small pouty mouth and a tiny speckle of a nose. Although his eyes were closed they were quite big with long lashes. His face was a light cream colour and stood out against it's dark body as it laid curled in a deep slumber. The moon gave him a small peck on the forehead before retreating back into the sky; another one of her children would be left at the mercy of this forest.
The small fawn barely stirred from it's slumber. When he finally greets the light of day he will be all alone in the world with only fleeting glances of his mother during the few scarce nights. He will be defenceless and spend night curled up by his lonesome wondering why he has not a warm companion to make him feel safe while he sleeps. However for now he rests peacefully under the soft loving embrace of the moon on his final night with her.

A chocolate brown doe stepped
The newborn's face scrunched
The youngster hadn't even attempted to walk or even stand yet, his movement was awkward and comical as he proped his rear up on wobbly legs much too long for his body, his front limbs still folded beneath him and neck outstretched, he look a few awkward steps forward leaving steaks in the snow as his front limbs plowed through it. Pleading eyes peered at the doe's face through a curtain of frosty tears; asking, no, begging for just a sliver of attention.
Amber eyes grew wide with
The hind gently nuzzled fawn, grooming his head and face in an attempt to chase away frosty tears. A soothing humm rolled from her chest as she sang a lullaby she had heard from another land. "Hush now little one. It's alright now." She cooed softly.

His expression changed
Hare froze in place with shock, he was no longer smiling but instead sported a baffled look. He reacted the same way any other startled newborn fawn would in this situation, he curled up and remained perfectly still to avert the danger.
The doe giggled and smiled as
With a small sigh of relief she groomed his ruffled fur and gave him a smile. "You're alright little one. It's okay. she purred softly.

His body lunged towards her
The doe was disappearing from his field of view and he grew increasingly distressed. The small animal sobbed and struggled to stand to no avail. He bleated out in a panic as his entire body trembled with the adrenaline flowing through it. He forgot that he needed to be quiet he just wanted her back, he whined and sobbed and bleated loudly feeling helpless and confused.
All she needed to hear were
Her twins were only a short distance away. It wouldn't take long to bring this little newborn to them and settle him in. She wasn't going to leave him now. She'd already become attached to those big eyes and floppy ears.
Seeing her coming back
He looked up at her more surprised than ever at what he had accomplished, his now rapidly wagging tail betraying his excitement. With a couple of little triumphant stomps of his back legs he took a couple of tentative steps forward.
As he sobbed Rae groomed him
Steping forward slowly she looked at him expectedly. With each step she took she left a hoof print in the snow, evidence she had been there.
His tail wiggled happily high
Hare felt very comfortable with the female's presence and would eagerly follow her anywhere as if she were his mother. The infant was getting tired and hungry but neither of those things even made a dent in his happy demeanor as he hopped and ran after her in short bursts.
A giggle bubbled past the
One fawn detangled itself from his sleeping twin as he struggled to clammer out to see his mother. "Come here Luso. I've brought someone new for you to meet." She called softly to the awaken fawn and looked down at the little one she had found.
As he trotted distracted by
The brown doe stood
He shut the one eye closest
The tiny creature turned towards the tree roots and the fawn sitting on them, his eyes squinted and his tiny round nose wrinkled up trying to see him better. Being a baby his vision was still very blurry so all he made out was a blob of red and two green circles painted on it. Hare shrugged his shoulders and took a couple of steps forward, his head now peeking out from beneath the doe's chest, he turned his gaze upwards looking for reassurance in her face.
Meeting the questioning gaze
Luso tilted his head as he watched the younger child. He was used to running up and poking at new things but maybe with little things he had to act like Notus and take his time. The older fawn squirmed where he sat in the snow, not having much patience. Mama wanted him to like this little thing though so he did his best to sit still.
Hare lowered his gaze still
Before long he was close enough to the other fawn to be able to see him more clearly. Since these were the first creatures Hare had ever seen the fawn's unnatural red pelt didn't really register as being strange at all. His attention turned to the larger fawn's bright green eyes, in contrast Hare had regular brown eyes but he didn't know that yet, he was also oblivious to the fact that his face was not exactly the same as that of his new found interest but rather more human. He bleated loudly and touched his nose to the other's before turning on his heels and running back to the safety of the female.
Luso fell back, shaking his
Rae groomed the newborn with a soft chuckle after he ran back to her. When she felt Luso bump against her leg she turned to groom him as well before he moved back to nurse. Shaking her head softly she turned to the little human faced fawn and nudged him toward her hind legs to nurse as well.
The little male jumped out of
Being a newborn he didn't need much milk to fill his stomach and he was done drinking before the older fawn had had his fill. Hare rubbed his face and body adoringly against the doe's leg and made happy cooing sounds, they were interrupted by an intrusive yawn however. With so much happening so quickly he had completely forgotten just how tired he still was after being awoken.
The older fawn was much
Amber eyes settled on Luso and the newborn expectedly, waiting for the two sleeping children to join her. The leaves were crisp and cold but the doe was warm and her fur was thick with the cold season.
Hare let out a few muffled
The tiny newborn looked up to the female wideeyed and questioning giving the two older fawns a double take just to reassure himself he wasn't seeing things. Hare decided to plop down near the doe's rump and away from the twins still keeping that confused look on his face. His limbs folded awkwardly underneath him and he leaned his weight into the female rubbing up against her thicker coat for warmth.
The older fawn simply shook
When his new brother curled up away from his twin he snorted disapprovingly, tossing his head and stomping his little hooves like he'd seen the larger stags do. Shoving his head under the tiny fawn he started shoving him through the leaves toward his brother. If he got him all the way over to Notus he would curl up on his other side, a twin on each side of the newborn.
Hare was mid yawn when he
Just before being shoved all the way he regained his footing just enough to avoid crashing into the other twin, one long limb laid across Notus' back and the other folded to fit neatly just beside his sleeping body. The newborn let his body rest in that position and plopped his rump down narrowly missing accidentally sitting on Luso's head. He let out a long yawn and smacked his lips a few times before sleep overtook him. His head bobbed up and down a couple of times before he gave up on the idea of trying to hold it up, he let it rest gently upon Notus' back and was soon off to the land of dreams.

After he'd spent time on the hill with Rae, talking to her, he moved down to meet their newest addition. He gently nuzzled each of the twins then gave a small lick to the little one's forehead. He figured that without his antlers he'd be a little less intimidating. Notus stirred and yawned, looking up at his father with sleepy eyes before noticing the small thing with he and Luso. The fawn was very confused. "Who this papa"he asked softly. "He's to be yo..ur new sibling"he answered in a hushed hoarse voice. Notus was still very confused but seemed to take it well. As long as Luso was within his sights and nearby he seemed to be fine with most anything. Achilles bright green eyes shone with love for his boys then turned the same eyes back to the newborn.
Hare was a very heavy sleeper
As any sleepy baby would react he was beggining to get a little grumpy at not being able to find a comfortable and warm position but he refused to fully wake from his slumber only making the occasional bleat and whine in protest. Hare hadn't even noticed the presence of another being amongst the group, being as young as he was he was extremely egocentric, thinking about himself before others for the time being.
Achilles laughed at this and
The newborn stirred and let
With a loud bleat the small body rose on unsteady spindly legs pushing aside his companion's head with a struggle only a baby could understand. He felt the weight of something much bigger however and turned his round face towards it thinking it to be the kind female he had met. He was wrong, very wrong and he felt scared at seeing a stranger's face on his body. Hare bleated out and wiggled his way from underneath Achilles and stared at him defiantly; his little tufted head lowered as if he was a big powerful stag bearing his nonexistent antlers to protect his family. He quickly realized however that he stood no chance against the big emerald eyed stranger and broke down crying and screaming for the female. Large round tears fell from his eyes and rolled down his delicate spherical face until their combined weight caused them to fall from his chin and soak into the snowy ground beneath. His sobs were short as he sucked in cold air, every breath was accompanied by a tiny squeak almost like a short hiccup.
Achilles smiled at the little
He felt a wet tongue press
Even at his young age he could imedietly see the resemblance between the twins and this new stranger. As he calmed down he regained feeling of his body and the sensation that had originally awoken the baby returned. Hare jumped up and ran behind the tree to relieve himself without being seen, for some reason he felt a little bit embarrassed otherwise. He trotted back from his potty trip with a happy skip in his step and a big toothless grin on his face. As he neared the stranger he stretched out his neck and gave him a few quick sniffs, the long fur tickled his little nose and he recoiled, his face contorted as he awaited a sneeze that never came. He shook his head causing the long ears to flop around and then he took a few more steps towards the big deer.
The baby began to push at Achilles' side looking for milk, Hare was still too young and inexperienced to understand that not every adult provided him with milk. He tried and tried but found nothing so he sat awkwardly on his rump and eyed the male with his head turned slightly to the side like a confused pup.
He gave a laugh as the little
The nervous twin came over to his new sibling and sniffed him now that he saw him awake. Then he nuzzled him figuring he was ok as long as he didn't take Luso's attention away. Having another friend might not be so bad really. The fawn gave a bleat to his new brother and nuzzled his cheek before skipping back to Luso and snuggling closely.
His confused stare was broken
Achilles laughed again. Notus
Hare jumped up and bleated

A few futile attempts later and the youngster had given up. He shook his head repeatedly trying to rid it of the water and snow that clung to it but was unsuccessful at doing that as well. He bleated out and looked pleadingly at the adult as if asking for guidance.
After letting the child try
His long back legs stomped
He sneezed again when the fur tickled his nose and stepped away. He looked back towards the sleeping twins and then back at the stag. Hare longed for the warmth now and he began to walk towards the sleeping red fawns. As he stepped forward he tried to shake some of the clumpy snow off his feet with a vigorous wiggle of the limb affected. Every few steps he would look back towards the male just to make sure he was still there.
