Gehirn for Misako

Before I even knew Gehirn as a character I’d seen Misako’s reference sheet of him on DA and wanted to draw him. Drawing human faced deer are a special challenge for me. Man face, gah! But I tried. Got a little crazy with the facial hair, oye.
So a little gift. Hope you don’t mind me experimenting with your character.

Gah, this is great. Really like the anatomy, your style is always pleasing to the eye. It's something I'd expect to see in a fairytale book, hn.. He looks like a king, keheh.

So I've had this picture open

So I've had this picture open in a tab for a while, whilst checking daily things I'd switch back and forth because this drawing would make me smile again. (And chuckle like an idiot, let that be said.) The fluff is just so amazing! And you drew him in his new skin! I adore how you did the facial hair, crazy or not XDD he's a very manly stag now! Yes, still chuckling like an idiot. This was really sweet of you and I can say, an enormous suprise! I was just going through daily posts when I saw the title and went "what."
You made my day! Great to come back home from work to this! I feel like stroking that nice red chest there. ..*Akwardly slinks off*

And those aantlers.. And the fluffy hooves! And I love the fluffy upper legs too. Fluff is great and I love how you shade fur and define it. And his eyes stand out so amazing! Ok I think I've blabbered enough. Thank you, a lovely suprise indeed. ♥

Daicore: Thank you! Heh, he’s a big guy, figured he’d have some pretty well developed shoulders.

Nopje: Thanks! Human faces are very hard for me, and I don’t draw male faces very much at all so it was a nice challenge. I had to repaint the face several times before I was satisfied.

Saosin: Gosh thanks, I appreciate it. Storybook illustration is my favorite style so when people say that it makes me happy. ^^
And I do think Gehirn is a very kingly sort of guy!

Misako: I’m so glad you like it! I always feel nervous drawing other people’s characters, less I mess it up. So I’m glad it has been well received. I couldn’t wait to paint that red chest floof. One of my fav parts of his new design. Gehirn is indeed a very manly stag.
