But time passes by and we seek our last place where you sleep deeper and fade away. For the next time I see you could be never, but I dearly hope it is soon.

As you leave, more companionship comes. It’s highly unexpected, but I treasure it and keep them close. I like making friends… I love making friends…
I want my friends to stay with me forever, and in return I shall stay with them to the end.

I seem to have claimed my spot now, near a poppy patch and next to a tree. I shall lay there every day and gaze out upon the lake, and as night draws in I will gaze up into the stars and the galaxy’s which lay beyond them. I will stay here and watch over the forest, greeting fawns with politeness and any company which I long for.
Today has been a great day.
