that's because the Pharaoh deer's magical awesomeness makes the background hide in shame C:

though sometimes, what can look kinda cool is if you get an x-acto knife and cut out all of the white spaces, and then find some really neat looking paper and glue it to the deer and the paper becomes the background. You could even Google some picture of hieroglyphs or something and print it out and use that instead of paper. A background does not always have to be something you color in ^-^
